Konnichi wa! Hajimemashite~ I haven't been to Japan since 2005 but I miss it still. I have friends in Tokyo who work as English tutors now. Tokyo was too loud for me, even in Yoyogi, but I really loved Nara and Sapporo. So lucky you can just pick up piles of kimono for dirt-cheap anywhere around!
I love LSRUS because it's one of the few active groups here. Members are weeded out regularly. There is also a monthly wish list in the Forums, so if you haven't checked that out, please do. I source + mail things to Tokyo so I can probably do it for you, too, should you like. <3
