My name is Sherry, I'm married and have 2 grown children and 4 grand kids. I live in the heart of Amish country here in PA. I spend most of my time with my grand kids or in my craft room. I am looking forward to swapping with others, but I must say it's is weird telling people all about me and what I like and dislike. I think I am very easy to please and if I would get something I didn't like I would give it to someone else who would enjoy it. I understand that I may get items that don't appeal to me, but I still think it will be fun.
After my kids moved out I turn one of the bedrooms in to my craft room. I love making things to give away. I have a cricut cutting machine, a serger, a sewing machine/embroidery machine and my newest purchase was the quilt cut 2. I started with a rag quilt for my grand son and one for quilts for kids. Now I am going to attempt to make my first king size quilt for my bed. I'm also interested in 3d origami and quilling. I am looking forward to participating in many swap-bot swaps. I am addicted to pinterest.com and can't wait to swaps some things and make some cool things to share with my friends and family.
I am always saving things to recycle and reuse. My kitchen theme is sunflowers and bees and my living room is filled with many native american items, some authentic, some just cute and colorful like my collection of Friends of the feather. My favorite colors are teal, turquoise, rust and purple.
Was thinking someone should start a "pay it forward" swap. Maybe something along the lines of:
send one thing to your swap partner and maybe something to a newbie, or an angel gift. And the second gift could have a note suggesting they send something to a newbie or an angel gift.
To new to this whole thing to start any swaps myself to know for sure how it might work.
I love Chocolate, not the fancy expensive stuff like Ghirardelli or Lindt. I hate coffee, toffee, or any thing close to coffee. I'm not crazy about white chocolate. I like zagnut , but they are hard to find. I like to chew gum as well. I like candy with nuts also.
I do own a dog named Koda (little friend). He is a Maltese Poodle mix, so he is hypoallergenic, but I just want everyone to know, just in case you have allergies to dogs. Koda doesn't shed, so there is little hair if any around here. I'll do my best to make sure my swaps are clean and hair free.
