I'm a college student living in Roanoke, VA after a somewhat failed attempt at going to school in the north (originally from South Carolina). I like dancing to music that is playing as much as I like dancing to music in my head, and I dislike humidity, as it makes my hair grow in volume to a degree that makes children flee in terror.

I most definitely do NOT stalk Wayne Johnston. Don't believe anyone who says so, even if they present "evidence."

I also have the uncanny ability to fall asleep anywhere. Ask my roommates.

I knit. I read. I don't turn my library books in on time. Clothes are fun to wear. I occasionally indulge in piracy. I can do a Newfoundland accent, but not a Charleston one. I DO have a livejournal, and I know it's lame but don't care.

I have moments in life when I realize that I am the tin dog.

I like languages. A lot. I'm not a linguistic elitist, though. I just like them a lot. At the moment I'm working on Welsh. So whose coat's that jacket? I'm taking Arabic and Welsh and have, at some point, tried to teach myself Russian and Irish and am fluent in Spanish. Because of my Spanish, I can read Italian and French and get the main ideas. But the gaelic languages are so PRETTY.

I promise I'm not that weird. It all makes sense in my head.

Murderball, The Boondock Saints, Dogma, Angels in America, Apt Pupil, Chocolat, Harry Potter 3, Y tu mama tambien, Europa Europa, Billy Elliott, cheesy vampire movies like Queen of the Damned and Underworld, The History Boys, Gray Matters, Saving Face, Juno, Trainspotting, Dark Knight, The Black Book (not to be confused with romantic comedies with brittany murphy), and alarmingly, Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

I knit like a madwoman, I can't crochet but can learn and probably will, can't draw or paint to save my life, and enjoy making things in general to a concerning degree. My boyfriend says I'm crafty of a different sort, but I maintain that I have no wiles.

Yarn and knitting things, t-shirt making things (fabric paint, stencils, etc), polymer clay, and I'll never say no to cross-stitch, embroidery, sewing, and painting wooden structures that are already built (it's hard for me to screw those up). I love sharpies too, and pretty much any office supplies/pens/pencils/journals/notebooks/desk stuff/cork boards/etc. My favorite colors are deep ones like forest green, navy blue, cranberry red, chocolate brown, eggplant purple, and other colors that aren't food.

There aren't many things I don't like, but I probably won't have a use for scrapbooking things, children's crafts, painting or drawing stuff, beading, cake decorating, floral, framing...and things that hate me are collages. I'm too OCD and I need them all to be perfect and symmetrical, which is not what collaging is supposed to be, lol.

Torchwood: Jack/Ianto, Tosh/Owen, and...obscenely...I can't turn my head away from Owen/Ianto, Ianto/Tosh (Iantosh?), Jack/Owen, Ianto/Gwen...it may be like a car crash where you can't NOT watch, but anyway....

Harry Potter: Draco/Ron, Draco/Harry, Zacharias/Blaise, Ernie/Ron

Firefly: Simon/Kaylee, Mal/Simon, Simon/Jayne, Wash/Zoe House, MD: House/Wilson, House/Chase

Doctor Who: Martha/Anyone, Jack/Rose

Torchwood: Gwen/Owen, Gwen/Jack, Gwen/Tosh

Harry Potter: Ron/Harry, Hermione/Ron (canon, but ew), Draco/Ginny, Draco/Hermione

House: House/Cuddy, Wilson/Cuddy, anyone with Cameron. She annoys me sometimes.
