I ALWAYS SEND OUT MY SWAPS. If it is an e-mail swap and you don't get anything, check your bulk folder, and if it is not there, then e-mail or contact me and I will re-send it.
RATING: I will be out of town in July, so I will be unable to rate you for right now (unless it is an e-mail swap.) When I get home, I will go through my huge pile of mail and rate everyone! Thanks for being understanding!
I'm a teacher, an artist and a writer. I make stuff, lots of stuff, particularly collage, mixed media, books, and boxes. My blog is http://sparklebluefaery.blogspot.com.
I teach Kindergarten at a small private school.
My other hobbies besides art include hiking, yoga, and reading. I like to cook, generally only if it is quick. I don't eat any red meat, so if you get me for a recipe swap I would really appreciate recipes without cow or pig. Birds and fish are fine though. Eventually one day I will go full out vegetarian.
My favorite color is blue (obviously), however I also like green, purple, and silver. I love essential oils and anything scented with jasmine or lavender. I have two neurotic cats whom I love very much. They like handmade cat toys, trash that can be used as a cat toy(which I have way too much of, so if I'm in a kitty swap, please don't send any crumbled paper balls, we're quite stocked on those), and chicken flavored kitty treats.
I always send out my swaps, so if you don't get anything, contact me.
I particularly like folk music, french music, rock music, reggae, some old school hip hop, and whimsical music. My favorite artists: Ani DiFranco (I love her), Tool, A Perfect Circle, Ditty Bops, Patty Griffin, Tori Amos. In short, anything but country and R&B, the only genres I dislike (but I'm sure there are songs in those genres I do like).
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Pan's Labyrinth. Amelie. Gattica. Lots of French movies. Any distopian thriller. Movies that have a French language audio option.
Anais Nin Journals, anything by Lynne Perrala or Gwen Deihn (colorful art journal books), Sabrina Ward Harrison.
I also like books with lesson plans and activities I can do with my class. My big thing right now is shoe box learning centers.
Altered Books, mail art, zines, handmade books, collage, painting, atcs, art dolls, anything to do with fairies
Things I love: * Fairies, * Penguins, * X-rays (I use them in my mixed media artwork) * Frida Kahlo, * Butterflies, * Vincent Van Gogh, * Anything French or Parisian, * cherry flavored, * art supplies, * blank books, * thrift stores, * candles, * skeletons and skulls(fake please), * long flowing hippie skirts, * dancing, * zines, * blue, * flowers, * blue skies, * cool breezes, * exploring forests, * cats, * ferrets, * the moon

Really love the extra zine you included with the art zine swap (but didn't want to mention it too much in the rating). I've never made a doll & I'm not into fairies, but I still enjoyed reading about it. I am into mail art, so I loved the musical postcard idea, even though the techniques are a bit over my head. I will attempt mixed media - one day...
