I am 19 and a sophomore at Kettering University, studying Industrial Engineering. So Kettering is a little different in that we go to school for 3 months then to our co-op(work) for 3 months, therefore we are in school for 6 months and at work for 6 months out of the year. (I have my co-op at Hurley Medical Center.) So I am constantly moving, it seems like you just get all settled in one place and you're on the go again! What is really nice though, other than we actually get paid to work, its not just an intern, once you are just getting sick of school you're off to work and vice versa. I really like the whole set-up though, at least when we graduate we already have 2 1/2 years of experience in our profession. I am also a member of Alpha Phi, a sorority at Kettering. I love my girls there and we are always having a blast!

I listen mainly to Country and enjoy other genres as well, except for Rap. My favorite artists are Taylor Swift and Train. But to also name some others: NeverShoutNever, Kelly Pickler, Darius Rucker, Jack Johnson, Gary Allen, Lifehouse...

I truly enjoy reading, two of my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and Sarah Dessen. The most recent book I have read is The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein and absolutely loved it! I love to do crafty things, my sorority sisters and I often make tie blankets, picture frames, t-shirts and all sorts of other crafts! I like simple paper crafts best, I often use them when I babysit.
