i'm 33 years old, born and raised in southern california, but now im a chicana living in pennsylvania (culture shock!). ive been married for ten years, and have two daughters, one is 13 and the other is 9. i work retail at a kids/teen discount store which is great because i can wear jeans and converse to work and i never have to pretend to talk like a grownup. i have tattoos and liquid eyeliner and can name almost any song from any decade plus the artist which is a skill i have practically no use for in real life.

my house, tattoos and hobbies are a mish mash of mexican, indian and asian influences. i have saint alters, bindis and henna supplies, and japanese plushies around every corner. i keep my hair short, my eyelashes fake, and my earings huge just like my idol edie sedgwick.

i love collecting things, and when i have something in my mind i want it, i want it all, and i want it right now. sometimes it gets out of hand, and because of this i am no longer allowed to search ebay for vintage my little pony unicorns, harass wholesale sanrio suppliers for catalogs, or hit up three or more antique stores in one day looking for the perfect pyrex bowl. true story.

i love the smell of brand new plastic and pinesol. i like memoirs and non fiction books about mental institutions. i like graffiti and urban exploration. i smoke cloves. i can beat you in chinese checkers.

things i DONT like: americana, christmas decor, museum quality art, poetry, chocolate, the words "sassy" or "funky", scrapbooking, postcards, country decor, nature, pony beads, and writing profiles.
