Hiya! I'm Emily, second year marketing student at Emerson College in Boston. I love living in the city soooooo much, and the historical feel in Boston makes it all the more amazing. I'm very much in touch with my inner child. I still love watching kids shows and movies, and I color a lot. I use art as a way to deal with stress and anxiety, so I'm excited to be able to send it out and trade with people :) Also, I'm definitely not opposed to anything that might be considered "offensive." I have quite a filthy mind, but I know when to filter myself.
I love all different kinds of music, with the exception of country. I tend to listen to pop and singer-songwriter stuff the most. Some of my favorites are: Tori Amos, Mindless Self Indulgence, Amanda Palmer, The Dresden Dolls, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Björk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Alanis Morissette, Hole, Nicki MInaj, Ben Folds, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Ramones, The Clash, and a bunch more.
Sadly, I don't get around to reading as much as I'd like to. My favorite book EVER is House of Leaves. I have a tattoo of the compass from the cover on my wrist. I love Shakespeare, Sylvia Plath, and Robert Frost. A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, A Streetcar Named Desire, Lolita, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, and Pride and Prejudice are some of my other loves.
Mmmmmm, I love movies. I tend to go for stuff with much bad-assery and gore. And comedy. Not much of one for chick flicks, but every once in a while I'll be in the mood for one.
Favorites: The Room, Rambo, Midnight In Paris, The Strangers, Psycho, The Fifth Element, Kung Pow, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, anything by Quentin Tarantino, Anchorman, Donnie Darko, Black Swan, Clerks, Clueless, Mean Girls, Shutter Island, Shakespeare In Love, The Big Lebowski, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, That Thing You Do, Land Before Time, Snow White, The Shining, Love Me If You Dare, Zombieland, The Producers, Birdcage, Let The Right One In, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and most Miyazaki films.
DOCTOR WHO. I am in love. And of course with Doctor Who comes Torchwood. I watch a lot of different stuff. Firefly, Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation, Sex and the City, Coupling, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia are my favorites. I also watch Project Runway, The Office, 30 Rock, The Simpsons, Queer As Folk, South Park, Adventure Time, Bob's Burgers, Golden Girls, Archer, The Mentalist, NCIS, SVU, Community, Seinfeld, Craig Ferguson, and Arthur.
I mostly do knitting and drawing. I like to do stamping too, and making cards for people. I do painting and other things too, just not as often. And since signing up here, I've become addicted to ATCs. I LOVE THEM :)
I don't have enough dislikes to list, haha! I'm not super fond of kawaii though.
Luckily I've only been flaked on once, but I'd love it if someone could angel for me for it. It was just a tea swap, so nothing requiring too much effort.
Thanks to @cottonthistle for angeling for the Incredible Women: Literary Heroine ATC swap!

I'd also like to thank you for the cool PCs (I've got what you want tag) I gave the 2 Mary Cassatt ones to Winney cause she was all Squee!! lol She's a HUGE fan and all into art and stuff. I kept the cool Emanuel Swedenborg one. I love science and history! :D LOVED the chance to make Winney grin! Thank you!
Thank you for the awesome postcards! Mary Cassatt is also one of my fave artists. I have a print of "breakfast in bed" on my wall! (got what you want tag)
Thank you for the Chaucer's Cup of tea for the the "Would you care to try" tag in the Tea is Love group. I love the aroma of it. Don't worry that you didn't have a ziploc bag for it; the decorative duct tape worked fine - it was more appealing that way too.
Thanks for granting some wishes from my American Swappers wishlist! I love the naked postcard as well as everything in the envie!
