I live on the Indiana Riviera, after many years of living in different cities and countries. It's neat to be back "home," in the town where I spent so many childhood summers. I love having my own permanent place--and garden!--although things are already getting cramped. Moving a lot kept stuff to a minimum, and the dust bunnies never had time to breed.
Music is so important to my life! If I didn't have radio or a music player, I'd wither and die. Or at least my soul would!
Favorite genres: Bluegrass, classical, alternative pop, quirky rock/pop/folk, science songs, cool children's music, country--old and modern, big-band jazz and swing, afro-pop!, old-timey music, 80s rock and pop, folk, celtic, opera--in moderation, instrumental (like George Winston, or anything instrumental that doesn't really fit into classical), "world music", international pop--Indian pop, Lithuanian pop, etc, high-energy dance mixes, Mexican dance music/mixes,
Some favorite bands: Sam Bush, Eddie from Ohio, Nanci Griffith, Barenaked Ladies (pre-Maroon), George Winston, Cake, Soul Coughing, They Might Be Giants (although I don't have anything recent), Caroline Glass, REM (need more), La Bottine Souriante, Barachois, Great Big Sea, Battlefield Band (need more),
Princess Bride, Blues Brothers, A Christmas Story, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Pirates of the Caribbean, Latcho Drom, True Stories, Spirited Away.
Favorite plays/musicals: Waiting for Godot, Noises Off, The Foreigner, Once on This Island, Jitney.
Favorite radio (on NPR): This American Life, Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me! (quiz show), Afropop Worldwide, Car Talk, Weekend Edition Sunday, Saturday (Sunday has the quiz with Will Shortz, but Saturday has Scott Simon!), BBC's The World, Says You (quiz show), Thistle and Shamrock, SOund Opinions,
And 99.9 fm in Chicago, "We Play Anything"--great eclectic mix, few commercials (available on internet)
Soapmaking: I do cold-process, using essential oils for any scents, and herbs for coloring. I think I'll try hot-process soap soon. I'd love to trade essential-oil CP or HP soaps with other people!

Gardening, although not technically a craft. I do a lot of seed-saving and I do a lot of seed-trading on another site.
