I've had long love affairs with nervousness.org, postcardx.net, sendsomething and have really been missing the random mailings that these bring.
I make lots of fabric art and have recently started to quilt which suits me very well. It feels so nice to do something so ordered.
I would love to recieve any manifestation of your art! Really! I love to see what inspires other people and what others find beautiful. I love the way mail feels magical and am always happy to find something beautiful in my mailbox.
I love reusing things to make bits of beauty. Old sheets, old clothing, cardboard, yogurt containers...I recycle all kinds of brown paper (paper bags, etc) into writing paper, I also recycle envelopes and make envelopes out of miscellaneous things. You will probably recieve something repurposed in your mailing!
Someday I hope to become a preformance artist.
I have far too many favourite books to list...here's a few that I've enjoyed over and over again!
