Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer Rodriguez and I just turned 30 in January of this year. I live in a tiny little town just 20 minutes south of Portland, Oregon. I’m married to a wonderful Mexican man and I’ve got two kids – Nina who is 4 years old and little baby Nicky who was born on April 2nd, 2013. I own my own bookkeeping services company and it has been so successful that I’m actually at the point where there are too many clients for me to handle by myself so I am in the process of hiring staff members – it’s very exciting!
I'm a huge bookworm and at any given moment, I like to have 12 to 15 unread books available on hand for my reading enjoyment. And there’s usually a similar sized queue of digital books waiting to be read on my iPad Kindle app.
I’ve recently discovered hand drawn lettering and am trying to teach myself how to do it in my free time. I’ve also recently uncovered the online community of correspondence lovers and I have eagerly taken up letter writing as my new favorite hobby. I’ve always loved paper, pens and writing but none of my friends or family is interested in exchanging letters. Now that I’ve found out that there are so many lovers of this lost art collaborating and connecting online, I finally have an excuse to justify my stationery spending sprees :-)
My favorite types of music are pop, classic rock, and country. My favorite band of all time is The Eagles - I saw them in concert when I was in high school and would love to go see them again.
When I hear the following songs come on, I turn the radio way up and sing along:
"Titanium" "Country Girl Shake It for Me" "Party in the U.S.A." "S&M" "Stronger" "All Summer Long" "Ol Red" "A Thousand Years" "Last Friday Night" "Rollin in the Deep" "Skyfall" "Bad Romance" "Poker Face" "Just the Way You Are"
Hoo boy, this could be a long one. Let's start with a list of the books I've loved so much that I've read them multiple times, shall we?
