I got the package you sent for Send to the person above you. I don't think i can express in words at how much it touched me to get such a great package, after having such a rough night at the hospital. Rarely do I cry, but I cried. Thank you so much for caring about someone that you don't know.

was reading your profile and had to tell you about my house.
My master bathroom is home to a toothless 14 year old cat, who came to live with us just hours before she was taken to the pound when her owner died. She goes in and out, at will through a bathroom window. My other bathroom is home to 3 baby ducklings who were being abandoned/attacked by other ducks. I did have 5 baby kittens living in the laundry room, until one of them ate one of the ducks....now they live outside with all the other cats. They come in and out pretty much at will....but they are not allowed in the laundry room/bathroom any more!
I have 4 dogs who go in and out...all day long. We have an open door policy...the sliding glass door into the yard is open...all day long. We have a feral cat colony who live around and under the house. All of the animals (with the exception of the kittens, because they're too young, are spayed or neutered. Even the feral cats). Luckily we live on 13 acres and don't really have any neighbors to speak of.
There have been times when I've housed sick or young animals in the closet because I didn't have any rooms left for them!
