So I posted some of my old art school stuff on my blog. Eeeeeep!
Looking back, I really appreciate the time I spent as an art student but at the time it just made me feel real incompetent and bad. There were so many people in my classes who could draw hyperrealistic pieces in no time flat and I struggled with realism big time. So there was def a feeling of 'unworthiness'. But I've accepted that abstract and surrealism is much more interesting to me anyway!
Hahaha! I was actually looking at stuff that I did two years ago when I was an art student(before I smartened up!) and I was actually shocked at how much I liked them. When I made them I hated them! I think I just need time away from the stuff I create, otherwise I get so super critical of myself.
lol thank you ! Actually her new book is coming out any day.. it's the second in the series about this guy who becomes sorta a redeemed man and goes back in time to help people.. The first one was pretty good ( Angel Time)
