Comment: For the record, for other swappers: Waited to rate this swap due to a series of events, wanting to step away to think clearer after the type of communications with this swapper and because it was not up to expectations based on the swap requirements. It was thrown together in a rush, but that part I could forgive since it was during the holidays. However, I did have to pay $2.05 to get it; the P.O. said it had money due since it was a thick envelope. Two of the five teas I am allergic to, as clearly indicated on my profile. All of the tea advent swaps were considered a package rate, since we were to wrap each of the five teas & decorate them to create the "advent" surprise. That created bulk and is thicker than 1/4 of an inch; anything over that is considered a package, with the USPS. The prior swaps in this series, that I both mailed and received, had accounted for this and were a package rate as described by the swap guidelines. After making contact about this, explaining the situation multiple times and showing proof with pictures, she said she would mail me the difference in postage. When I receive her snail-mail note, it didn't have the complete postage amount, in stamps, that I had to pay to receive this swap, as previous agreed upon. She later claimed that she didn't agree to it, didn't have the extra stamp(s) and thought that the small scraps of paper and cut-outs would make up for it. I explained the importance of keeping ones word. Plus, if that were so, then she should have communicated it, before hand, in order to come to a new agreement! I did not expect her to resend this swap, or start all over, or "waste more of **her** money" as she put it, but I did expect her to keep her word! It's just the right thing to do, to completely reimbursing someone for the money they lost to receive their package! If she had done so, I would not be writing this now. I rate a five, because it mostly was within the swap requirements and she did attempt to make up for it, but I wish to make it clear that there is not a heart for this one and if I could rate a 4 then I would do so. It wasn't quite completely within the swap requirements; it teetered on the edge by the time it was all said and done, since she did "attempt" to make up for it, but didn't completely reimburse me for the postage I had to pay to receive it! Due to the type of communications (the manner in which she communicated to me) & lack of keeping her word to the fullest, I can see where one would be inclined to rate their partner a 3, but I rate a person based on our S.B. rating system, rather than merely on their manners. However, this experience has taught me to think twice about being nice, by going ahead to pay such postage, thinking the partner just made a mistake and would be nice in return. I do not like it when people don't keep their word and try to "one up" the other person, just to have some sort of twisted thrill to see what they can get away with in life!... based on her communications with me and actions, I can conclude that is my experience with this swapper. ~ **Note**: ~ I've re-looked at the pictures for this swap, to be sure, the envelope had only one *stamp* and not any printed postage confirmed prior to shipping, by the P.O., as she'd like to claim. After rating this, she sent another PM to further communicate in a degrading & manipulating manner about this, trying to insult my character. She even warned me with a threat to not say anything more, adding "anything further will make me move in another direction," she said in her PM to me! So I'm publicly asking you to Stop PM'ing or emailing me and stop thinking with a revenge mindset! Rather, take time to pause, reflecting on your responsibility in this, look at what works, what doesn't, reevaluate what does and move forward ... being happy that I didn't rate this experience with a 3!!!
