Thank you for all you sent me. I am sorry for you all in western NC. Esp. Asheville. My grandson was two hours west of Asheville taking a course and working this summer. He left by detouring around Asheville and returned to VT.
Comment: Thank you for your cards and note. I have had more flowers this year than any since I moved here in 2015. My Irises bloomed just before mothers day. They make me think of my Mom as her name was Iris. And my wildflower bed is now blooming for the first year. Every time I go out I see at least one butterfly. Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for the tea and inspirational quotes! I'm loving springtime, getting out in the garden, and having the windows open, too! And Laura Ingalls Wilder has been a favorite since childhood!
Comment: Michelle, thank you for the card and lovely stickers - love them. Yeah, the BIG game was filled with funny commercials and good singing, I thought - great performances. I hope you are having a wonderful Friday and will have a great weekend! Thanks for making me smile.
Comment: Dear Michelle, Thank you for the sweet card with the blue truck and flowers. I thought all the quotes were simple yet thought provoking. I'll definitely enjoy all the teas you sent. To respond to your question about the weather. We had a week of snow in January. This week brings temps of upper 50's into 60's. I call this light jacket weather. Have a wonderful 2024.
Comment: LOVE. Thank you so much for the wonderful teas, I'm excited to try the passion flower one! And for the fun embroidery floss. thanks for brightening my day.
Comment: Hi Michelle! Thank you for the fun pc and the share about your New Years resolutions! Hope all goes well with going to the library monthly - I go weekly! LOL! Also on reading more and scrolling less, that is one of mine as well - I have way too much screen time! My hubby also does a ton of the cooking here - he is more creative in the kitchen but I need to try a bunch harder! All the best and Happy New Years to you and yours! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for your nice note and tuck-in. I took a day off from baking today. Tomorrow I'll make chocolate waffle turtle cookies with fudge frosting for my MIL as well as rugelach. We are taking Xmas dinner to them, blintzes that are a favorite of theirs. Aren't they lucky to have a Jewish DIL?!
Comment: What a beautiful glittery card with amazing Christmas surprises inside! How cute is this Cherry Pican Baked Brie recipe card? and the die cuts and puffy stickers, oh my! Love it all. Thank you! This was a terrific last hurrah! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card. I can appreciate having to make extra food. We go somewhere for Thanksgiving dinner but I will turn around and cook a small turkey dinner this weekend so we can have our own leftovers. 😂 I mean what’s turkey day without leftovers? Happy thanksgiving 🦃
Comment: That is neat you find people that don't have family to have over! We will have family on Saturday instead of the day! Thanksgiving day I will do some cooking I can do ahead of time! Relax, too! Thanks for the card and love the stickers!
Comment: Thank you for the card. I'm mostly ready for autumn. The only thing I'm regretting is what comes after fall. I hate winter. Luckily I work from home so I don't have to travel in the snow very often, but I still hate it.
Comment: Such an enjoyable letter to read after an exhausting day at work- thanks, Michelle! If you are interested in pen-palling, let me know and I'll respond.
Comment: Thank you for the nice letter. It was interesting to read your library history. Since I moved to a small town 2 years ago, I’ve become a regular at our little public library. It had been years of never visiting libraries. It’s so nice to be among the books.
Comment: Very nice note about what is going on with you. It inspires me to keep my own week quiet and easy. I hope all is nice with your weather. Happy Swapping from Hot SW Idaho.
Comment: Settling in sounds like a lovely way to spend the holiday. Mine was spent tending to terrified cats, as we have an extreme amount of illegal fireworks around here - the kind that you'd see at a large amusement park, ones that don't belong in neighborhoods. My brother came over and helped me do productive things, and it is always nice to see him and have the help.
I'm not ready for pumpkin spice season yet either. Thank you for the cute stickers.
Comment: Thank you so much for the gorgeous card!! And omg, those Swedish cookies sound amaziiiing! Thank you for joining my swap, and have a wonderful day! <3
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and note. Quick answer to your last question. I did live in upstate NY for a couple years as a small child but CA has been home for most of my life. We have seasons (rain and no rain) I visited NC in Feb and was struck by the starkness of the bare trees. I lived in a redwood forest at the time and they are evergreen.
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely note and pretty stationery set! I just finished Lessons in Chemistry and I enjoyed it immensely! Hope you like it too! Take care! XO Dana
