Paul and I are going to be filling up our bags of candy for the kids tomorrow night! I think you'll have lots of fun handing out candy too! I love to see all the kids in their costumes having lots of fun! My husband always takes this week off o work. He loves fall and Halloween! Have fun on Saturday! :) It will be great fun!
Response: We did have fun! It was a bit quiet at times but we had some great kids. I felt so joyful handing out the little tulle bundles of candy tied and a little "you are loved" note tied with ribbon. It was nice to share the love.

Comment: Thank you for your swap! I also love that book. It's the only book (in recent memory) that made me cry as I do NOT read tearjerkers. I had heard amazing things about that book, swore to myself I could read it without crying. I could not. It doesn't help that my hubby has health problems, so I think that's what made me cry.
Response: Oh bless your heart honey. Yeah it is an intense book. Worth it... but intense most definitely! I was surprised at the depth of the story.

Response: Sadly, on the days that the Aurora is going to be the brightest we always seem to have massive cloud coverage. :/ Also, being in Anchorage (the 'big' city) all the lights kind of make it harder to see them. As for cold... yeah there is some nip in the air. *gentle sigh* I suspect snow is going to be early this year -- it's been so wet these last few weeks.

Comment: What a great way to repurpose. My friends & I are always looking at household items trying to come up with a different way to use them. I will definitely be doing your wings trick. Great ATC, thank you so much!
Response: Aww that is such an awesome compliment thank you so much!! :) The only challenge with that technique is making sure you support the other portions of the image to accommodate for the thickness of the wings. Also, I used E6000 to attach the wings to the card -- that stuff is amazing once you figure out how to work with it. :) I use it for anything that I need to have a 'tougher' hold than normal.

Comment: Yay!! I get to swap with you again! Lovin' the genuine suck a*% list. I agree with 8 out of 11. Your birthday is more dangerously close to the 25th, so I can see your point. With me, the relatives usually arrived at Thanksgiving Dinner with my birthday gift which made Thanksgiving funner than it should be for a kid, although it's tough to beat pumpkin pie. And stuffed celery (basically just STRAIGHT UP cream cheese with bits of olives...YUM). Your number 5....I could relate better if it had the word "drive" at the end of it. Until we swap again, my dear!

Great 3-D elements, and the back was very elegant with the die cut embellishments and hand drawn filigree corners I opened it down the side so I wouldn't damage any of it.( Finally someone else besides me who uses clear tape all over the envie). 6 beautiful postage stamps. Thank you for the Huckleberry tea. I have a huckleberry jelly label taped on my bulletin board to track down how to get more (it was gift from relative on Alaska cruise) I cheered out loud when I read the tea flavor. I'm hanging the envie on my mini clothes line gallery above my desk. It was a fun swap lucky me to get you as partner ♥.

My brother and his wife are visiting Alaska right now and are having a great time. I visited there about 20 years ago and just loved it. It is so beautiful and the air is so clean! I made that awhile ago. I tend to bounce around in my crafts and time is at a premium right now so swapping is my fun hobby while I finish my degree. Then, back to quilling.
