Comment: Thanks for your stories. Portland is about an hour from here. We get there four or five times a year... in more normal times. The big hail storm missed us but we had some two days after. Fortunately, it was quarter to half inch and didn't damage anything but a few flowers.
I was born in 1952 so 8-tracks were brand new in the middle of my growing up.
