2021updates We are well and ready for summer! Creating space again for crafting weekly so all inspiration welcome.
/1/20 Welcome to a New decade! I am making crafting a goal every month so I will be joining swaps and learning new things all year long. The boys are in competitive sports so lots of games all year long. The evening craftiness is sacred to me and it’s how I replenish.
My husband is well and healed in his body. We give thanks to a God for carrying us this year. We have a new addition to our family, Grace Faith Ramsey a 7 month old Doberman pincher. So dog, paw print fabrics are welcome now.
Maestro our cat is happy to have a playmate but still likes his quiet nap routines.
Blessings to your home in 2020.
4/7/19 This is my annual update to keep all of my swap-bot friends in the loop of life happenings. The home is beginning to settle in a year later and my craft space is growing and bending to fit my crafting needs. If you had me as a partner in March, know that I appreciate all of the support you gave me as we dealt with a family crisis. The time in my sewing room was my therapy and gave me a focus. My husband is recovering well and headed towards full restoration in his body. It's hard to believe that was only a month ago. I'm steadily working toward my PhD degree and making progress daily with all of the baseball and soccer games scheduled with the boys. I'm grateful for this community of support. Blessings to each of you.
4/2/2018 It's been an entire YEAR! Thanks to the BOM group for doing a mug rug swap for Spring to get me excited again. There has been lots of changes and updates since last summer. In December 2017 we moved into our new home, and are still settling in. the great news is I have a dedicated sewing room, and craft storage closet, so I can actually see all of my stuff in one place. I'll be using my new Brother sew n cut 2 for my mug rug, to see all it does. The boys are now 11 and 8 years old. See updated profile on things they like now. My hubby is retired and still an avid golfer. As for me, I'm now a Phd student, and spending late nights reading and writing papers. Send chocolate and coffee, often. That's it for now!
June 2017 - Well it's now summer and I'm just returning to swaps. I will be back in July after doing a few simole swaps to raise my numbers.
January 2017 -For all of my quilting, tea chums, and scrapbooking friends I have a busy first quarter of 2017, so I'll jump back in for swaps in April after I do a few mini swaps to get my ratings up. I swap for fun and it's just that. Unfortunately a few 3's have lowered my rating, so I need to fix that. It's worth it just to connect with you all. If you're up for a personal swap just email me, and I would love to.
For all of my Write Now Swap buddies, I miss you guys already! My book anthology lis in print on Amazon, so be sure to stop by and grab a copy. Check out my story in the anthology on pae 72, Living and Loving After Tragedy. I really believe my support in The Write Now, is the reason that I'm a published author. Just PM your information and I will send you the link.
Can you believe we are already a quarter of the way through 2016? Well we are. A little life update, my oldest son is now 9 years old. Hard to believe how fast they grown. I am sneaking in crafting as I can with busy work schedule and building my consulting business. My husband's artwork is just amazing, so we're working on a website to show his prophetic paintings. I'm on Periscope and enjoying growing my periscope family. Follow my twitter handle #developpeople to catch me on Periscope.
Wow, 2015 was an eventful year full of lots of travel. I am not in very many swaps because of that, but will look forward to new swaps n 2016, once my travel schedule slows down in January.12/22/15,
I HAD THE FLU for 2 WEEKS, sorry if I was late on your swap. Kelly 4/20/15
My story: I'm a newbie quilter, just four years into the craft. I was introduced to quilting by my great-grandmother, who passed away in 2011 at 99 years old. As a little girl, I sat at her feet as she hand-quilted and tied her quilt off with little pieces of red yarn. My job was to hand her the yarn.
I am married to my best-friend and 51 year old mom of two active boys, ages 11 and 8 and a full-time professional woman.
PHD student majoring in Transformational Leadership.
My husband is an artist and great supporter of my career and dreams. He's now retired, and an avid golfer and gardener.
My boys are soccer players this year, which makes me a soccer mom. Lots of practices and Saturdays on the field. Basketball in the fall, and Football next year for my oldest.

I collect teacups, teapots, and any fabrics with teacups, teapots, coffee items on it.
I also love cupcake themes, and items. This is a new collection, and slowly growing. Cupcake tea lights, aprons, dishtowels, and bookmarkers.
I also love handmade baskets and all sorts of bags and containers.
In my quilt fabrics, I collect colors for boy quilts, with two boys at home. As a preschool teacher of 30 years, my collection of Children's storybook are vast. So I'm collecting children's artist quilt fabrics too...Eric Carle., Brown Bear Brown Bear, Dr. Suess fabric.. and anything else I can find. I found goodnight moon fabric this year at the Oklahoma Winter Quilt Show, cant wait to use it!
I became a pet owner at 51 years old! Why did I wait so long.... Maestro is our Simease cat and he is definitely a wonderful addition to the family. So I now welcome cat stickers and fabric, so that I can make him covers for his beds.
Not interested in novelty prints with -animals, dogs, skulls, Halloween, Santa.
This year, collecting lots of reds, neutrals, linen, and taupe.
Here are a few of my favorite teas:
Green teas, jasmine, mint, mango Ceylon, fruit teas of any sort, earl grey.
Harney & sons, Teavana, are my favorite places to buy teas. Rishi Tea is my new favorite, love the tumeric ginger tea, it's just amazing.
I was in Chicago, and fell in love with Argo teas. If you're near one, my favorite is the loose tea, chai teas, especially hazelnut chai or coconut green teas. Some popcorn from Garrett's would nice too.
Coffee : whole bean , flavored, and dark roast like Sumatra, French roast, and blue mountain. K-cups with dark roast coffee or green tea.
I love to write.... Postcards, poems, blogs, and journaling. I buy books about writing to support my writing. This is actually possible now that the boys are getting older. What I lack is discipline and consistency, so I'll be joining swaps to help me hone in on my craft as a writer. My goal is to write my story, children's books, curriculum and manuals for parents. I am now a Published Author!!! Checkout my book on my website. See above for website link. Keep the writing tools coming...
We now have Trader Joes in Oklahoma!!! But I still love anything from Trader Joes, especially the trail mix mini packets. Just one or two will be fine.
Project Life products and Ali Edwards products too. I do the One Little Word each year, this year's word for 2019 is Awaken. Former words were Propel, Focus, Create, Grow, Launch, and Possibilities.
Journals of all sizes and shapes Gardening items including seeds, gloves, trinkets, stickers, etc. Gel pens, sharpies of all colors and sizes.
My hubby is a golfer, so any golf related items are always welcome.
My boys are sports fans (baseball, soccer, basketball, and football), and love hats, and crazy socks, all kinds!
Our cat and dog love a stuff animal to chew.

Book Lover's Congregate Swappers Just wanted to let you all know what a great leader Mugsie is! She's one of the best swappers I know, and is so kind and sweet. Unfortunately my ratings have dropped due to 4 - 3 ratings, so I didn't meet the guidelines for the group. I won't be rejoining (If I worked hard to increase my rating I would be welcomed back but FIRST priority is always my FAMILY and that won't be changing)but wanted it on record that Mugsie is the best.
Always glad to get to swap with you! Hope the box inspires you to write lots of new stuff!
Just wanted to stop by to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of my Swap-bot friends! Have an awesome year, and may your year end be filled with joy and lots of good things to enjoy.
