I went to a casino last year and they had the most amazing koi pond. I stayed out there for at least an hour while my boyfriend went and played poker. I love fish :D

Response: Thank you! I'm so happy you got a kick out of it! I was worried that what I found funny might be offensive to someone else. I do have a rather twisted sense of humor sometimes. I wish I could share a video on here sometime to show people how cool Gus really is. He actually does a strip tease to some really swanky jazz music played by the band. The crowd gets wound up, he yanks off his "break-away warm-up pants" to reveal uniform shorts, then more tease before yanking his uniform shorts off to boxers, and finally the last section of tease and dance to pull his boxers off to see his bright red thong. the crowd goes nuts -- laughing, clapping, hooting and hollering. fortunately, everyone takes the "strip tease" in the family fun manner in which it is intended

Response: i saw a killdeer running around in our driveway this morning. their sound is a high-pitched "cheeeeeeeeeeeep". i will give a few days and start walking around there. if there is a nest near by, the adults w/ starts their attempts to pull my interest away by acting like they are hurt. once i locate the next, i put rocks around it to prevent it from being run over.

Response: I was SO close to my grandmother as well. I always wonder what it will be that my little granddaughters will remember about me after I'm gone! I've figured out why grandparents and grandchildren get along so well -- they share a "common enemy"!!!
