Comment: These are so pretty! I don't mind the slightly "off" sizes; I think that makes them more special. The case is awesome, too. Next time I curl my hair with a slate pencil, I'll be fully equipped to participate in polite society.
Response: I'm thrilled you like them--I was so frustrated by the cutting, though, that I was thinking of taking them to be professionally cut. My next investment will be a nice professional paper cutter!

That pattern, "bead soup," is in fact usually knit--I do it on size 0000 needles and metallic thread--you just thread an arm's length of beads, cast on the width of stitches you like (say, six), and garter stitch a few rows. Then it's one row as follows: K1, push 1 bead, K1, push 1 bead, etc. Turn and garter stitch. Turn and repeat row 1 until all beads are gone. PM me if this doesn't make sense, which it might not!!! : )

Response: Greetings back to Paris! My husband has quite a bit of family there. And I'm so glad you liked the package. I was a little worried about the beads rattling ominously at customs, but I guess I secured them well enough not to make the package like a maraca!
