No, we don't glue the original puzzle pieces on the card. It would be a waste of the puzzle. We just use the pieces as a template. 1) take a nice piece of decorated paper and put that on your card. Make sure it's stiff! 2) find some nice illustrations (book, magazine, wrappingpaper, printed from internet). Put the puzzlepiece on the illustration and draw the outlines. Neatly cut it out. If you want a border around your puzzle pieces, put the clipped piece on plain paper and cut it neatly out again. Instead, you can also colour the edges with markers if you prefer that. 3) put the pieces on your card. For this project you can use a strong hobbyglue, but I preferred to use double side adhesive tissuetape. I covered the backside of all parts fully with the tape before I started clipping. If you like you can add some glitter(glue) to your card, or use decorations. A sealant for the frontside is allowed, like mod podge or spray or something else. Send your card written and stamped. So no envelope, plastic sheets or full laminating. The swap image is made by myself. |
