Why hello my fellow travelers and swappers with November BDays! Saw artjournalingheidi’s October BDay swap and wanted one for us too.

My Birthday is November 30th, just 6 days after my 25th Anniversary. I was a teenage bride for 6 days…enjoy the math problems 🤭

We will each be sending to 3 partners who also have November BDay’s. To each partner we will be sending:

1. A birthday card…store bought or handmade ~ decorate the envelope making this happy mail for your partner and any mail carriers on the way whose work day you’ll make brighter. This can be as simple as washi tape, stickers and doodles or full on piece of artwork…if you need inspiration search ‘mail art’. Please include a message, quote, joke, positive affirmation or letter.

2. Stickers… ~birthday stickers or something profile inspired either a full sheet or think of loose stickers as glitter and apply like your inner child is having a ball with glitter crafts but not so much that you have to use a box we are doing envelopes and don’t want them busing at the seems. Although I do have extras and if you don’t mind packing tape on your envylope…I have done stuffed envy swaps and if your profile is filled out enough I may have enough to do that for my partners. Just double check with who your sending to first. For those I tape the edges or the whole decorated envy mostly with tape leaving a small spot to open with letter opener or scissors.

3. A minimum of 4 profile inspired extras… ~purchased or handmade is senders choice… …but it must all be based off their profile so having a filled out one is a must!!!… …washi tape samples, ATC’s, twinchies, inchies, tags (blank bases, printed or works of art), kits for ATC/Twinchie/inchie if your partner is new to them, unused postcards, a few stamps (unused or faux) or a bunch of used ones, stationary, ephemera…you get the idea. Just make sure it’s something you made inspired by your parter’s profile or supplies picked out based on their profile.

Minimum is 2oz of happymail and goodies for each partner.

What would make you squeal with joy when it arrives? For me last week it was an envelope with hand drawn flowers from their state on it. We are not buying off amazon lists and calling it good or sighing a card and throwing random junk in an envelope. This is a thought out swap to make your partners feel seen, valued and spoiled as they celebrate another year orbiting the sun.

Amazon Wishlist do make great visual respestations of your partners interests or what they love to craft with. So they ARE good for inspiration and insight into what that partner would love to receive.

As someone whose Birthday often gets skipped because it’s so close to thanksgiving and when Christmas Chaos starts but also knowing holiday mail slows and lines start getting long at the post office in November I’m going to set this to USA, 4.98 rating or higher and close for partners October 20th so that we all receive by our Birthday or hopefully by the end of month atleast. If there is enough interest I can easily create an abbreviated version with 1 partner for new swappers, global, anyone who missed out the first round. New swappers welcome seasoned would need 4.9 rating or higher and be working to raise ratings.…closing a few days into our bday month for partners and sending by the 15th. Bday PC would be fun abbreviated version too.

Please note swap name on Envelope so your partner can save opening for their actual BDay if they need/want to. Rate as soon as you receive but you can save notes, hearts and stars for after the swap finished or when you open your Happy Birthday Mail, whichever is sooner 😉
