Description:

I love to make hand-carved stamps, either from the Speedball sheet rubber made for this purpose, or the white ones made by someone, big pink rubber erasers, or even cut linoleum stamps.

THIS SWAP IS FOR EXPERIENCED STAMP CARVERS

We'll have one partner, swapping one ATC made with your own hand-made stamp in the appropriate size (2.5" x3.5"--you can make the stamp slightly smaller). It can be in any color(s) ink or even acrylic paint, on any color cardstock or watercolor paper, or whatever sturdy background you prefer. You can do something to the background, but make the stamp the primary focal point of the ATC.

There will be time between sign up and mailing to make something particularly relevant to your partner's profile if you like, but it's sender's choice.

Rated swappers who are experienced stamp carvers, and must have at least 4.8 with no recent no-sends.

Swapping Newbies with experience with hand-carving stamps are welcome-- others, please write me first.

I hope all with have strong commitment to fulfilling this swap. I may not be able to angel it so you're on your own--though I will check the participant list carefully and communicate with anyone who seems on the edge of possible flakiness.

Ooh, I will be watching this one! I have two examples of my stamps on my Flickr page, in the "paper" folder.

Added to my watch list this morning! I used a hand-carved stamp I recently made to make a Christmas tree and used it on a Shrinky Dink for an intaglio effect.
