Let's do a One Sheet Wonder (OSW). For those of you not familiar with an OSW: you take a piece of printed paper (designer series paper) or one that you create your self by filling up a piece of card stock with stamped images. You take that 6x6, 8x8, 8.5x11 or 12x12 piece of DSP and cut it up to make cards. Need inspiration, look at YouTube or Pinterest. You can try a search for One Sheet Wonder, Love it Chop It, Sheet Load of Cards or Connie Stewart's Super Flash Cards. I suggest a 6x6 so that you don't have a lot to cut up and make. When you have made your cards, send one to your swap partner and keep the rest for your stash. So if your OSW made 4 cards for example, you would mail 1 out and keep 3. Embellish as you wish please but try to keep it flat so that it will only cost one stamp. Don't write in the card so that you partner can use it and don't forget to include an envelope. Please do your best work and send something that you would give to a loved one. Christmas is coming so you could do a Christmas OSW if you wanted but it is senders choice. Have fun and please reach out to me if you have any questions. I will angel if necessary. |
