Today I discovered the blog howaboutorange! And in traditional Marymint style I went straight to the tutorials section (the free download section is also worth a look). This particular tutorial caught my eye and sent me round the house searching for supplies... http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2009/04/mod-podged-paper-bowl.html So, we will make one modge podged bowl (if you're in the UK I used PVA) for one partner. The finished bowl will be decorated by the sender (senders choice) and will be a small bowl shape that could be used to store keys, buttons, bits and bobs, non naked food (sweets in wrappers). Your bowl will be pretty delicate so you will need to package the bowl carefully so that it doesn't get squashed in the mail. The Legalities We will send one decorated bowl to one partner, please include a card with your swap name. Bowls must, must, must be packaged with care nobody wants to receive a squashed bowl. This swap is international! Newbies are welcome as long as you have 5 mailed and rated swaps under your belt. Extras are great but not at all necessary. The swap is open to those with a rating of 4.8 and above. If you don't intend to send then please don't join. If you don't intend to send on time then please don't join. If you don't intend to rate then please don't join. My primary concern is the swapping experience of everyone in the swap, if I think you don't fit the bill then I won't allow you to join. If you think you have been rated unfairly then please tell me your tale and I will take it into consideration. |
