BOM Log cabin: R1

Hi I´ll make a testround of this and see if there are enough interest in the group for making a block of the month quilt. If it turns out to be little interest at least we get a pair of blocks and can make some nice potholders :).

I have choosen a very easy pattern - log cabin. I thought it would be nice if both people with lots of experience in sewing and those quite new to it could participate.

Log cabins can look pretty much what you want, you can sew lots of thin stripes in it, make them sloping, try something you´d be proud to receive.

So, every participant choose 5 (five) favouritecolors in the comments for the sender to choose from. The sender can pick either as many/few as (s)he likes but at least you know you won´t receive a color you definitely DON'T like and the sender can clean out the stash :).

Choose highquality quiltingfabric only and sew 2 (two) blocks of 10 x 10 inches each. You sew the front only, batting and back are up to the receiver. If we continue this for a year we could all end up with some really fun quilts! You need to have at least 20 rated type 3 swaps on your record and since this is the Spoiled Swappers group I don´t think there will be a problem with chronical latesenders and flakers. If your ratings are under 5.0 you need to contact me prior to signing up.
