i am inspired by the new years crown swap i am in right now so i want to host a party hat swap!!!

you know those sweet yet silly cone shaped hats you wore as a kid for birthdays etc...

i have seen some really creative ones!

fabric,vintage wallpaers,sparkly,with words-without words,feathers...shabby chic ones..you name it!

so make one very fancy party hat...send to one partner.......you can embellish it and send it flat...no need for a special hat box...unless you would like to.

i will post links with ones that inspire me....

also artchix studio has a great collage paper with cutout party hats on which the designs are very nice for paper artists...

sounds great but what do you mean send it flat,how can you flatten a CONE,or am i being dumb,do you mean they fold it into a CONE when they get it. thanks shabbyjules

yes, i meant work on the hat flat and assmeble it when it is recieved in the mail:)

Cute idea, noel…..

And I think it's a great idea to send it out flat and have the recipient put it together. It makes it a whole lot cheaper to mail out.

BTW.....I am in the crown / tiara swap as well.

Oh Noel.........You bet I'm still in....

I would be so disappointed if you canceled the swap.

You may wish for more people to join………and they may……….but honestly, the best swaps are the small intimate ones. Once the numbers go up over ten they tend to get dicey.

Anyway………you may find that come the end of October, first part of November, people start joining. That is when your swap will start heading toward the top of the current swaps list in View All Swaps.

But come what may, I am looking forward to this swap.
