Description:

This is my first time being a Swap Coordinator. So if you have questions, please fell free to ask away.

So the jist of this swap is that you will be assigned 1 partner to whom you will send 2 ATC's. This should only require one postal stamp on the envelope. Keeping it cheap and cheerful.

This swap will be senders choice. Reading your partners profile would be a nice gesture but in the end we have a theme to work with. I am requiring you to have a 4.5 rating or better so that we can keep this swap free of flakers. (Unrated swappers can join)

Please make these ATC's something special that you would like to receive. Think of it as a pretty little piece of art. ATC= Artist Trading Card. No stickers please.

Please be sure to add your profile name to the back along with the name of the swap. If for some reason your swap item will be late, please email your partner to let them know.

Discussion

Hi there, Just a suggestion ... when the breakdown of swaps by type got added to profile pages recently, it stimulated a lot of discussion in the public forums about how swaps are supposed to be "typed." The way the definitions of type 2 and type 3 swaps are written, there is some uncertainty about it, but the majority of experienced swappers posting in the forums seemed to feel that because of the handcrafting required, ATC's should fall in type 3. Even Rachel Johnson posted supporting that. So you might want to consider making this a Type 3 swap.

Sorry for the long comment, and good luck with the swap!

Such a lovely swap idea, I'm definitely in! When I was 5 my parents took me on holiday to Barbados, and I can still remember it now- I can close my eyes and feel it, it was fabulous. x

What about using word stickers? I don't have rubber stamps to express the words that I would like to use on my ATCs. Would that be ok?

Runner, I am glad that this brought back fond childhood memories. How fun!

Swift, word stickers are okay, I just didn't want anyone to recieve a pair of ATC's with just stickers on them. That's all.
