I love to see art made from the heart. Let your creative juices flow. Please do not be hindered by my likes and dislikes. These are just to help those that might like a hint from me.
When it comes to art work, I am attracted to all things vintage with muted tones like robins egg blue and brown combination, all shades of cream, white and beige.
In Art with a vintage feel I love to see vintage laces, linen bits, pretty buttons, chippy paint, rust, vintage photos and vintage ephemera, vintage dictionary and/or book pages.
I also am very attracted to art that has birds, birds nests, the tree of life, eggs, swirls, skeleton keys, key holes, fleur de lis, seashells, starfish, driftwood, palm trees, sunsets, uplifting quotes, words, small prayer box charms, lockets, tags, the color turquoise, robins egg blue, script writing, pretty patterned papers
I also love to receive decorated envelopes, pretty stationary, pretty ribbons/ seam binding, milk chocolate, teas, coffees, vintage buttons, vintage photos, laces, pretty ATC's, paintings, pretty rubber stamps, anything TIm Holtz, pretty patterned papers, precut cardstock for ATC's, and tags.
I was never a pink girlie girl. I was more of a tomboy growing up. I do not like and prefer not to receive anything that is mostly pink or mauve.
I do not like any kiddie type items, cartoon characters, stuffed animals or kiddie stickers, pornographic material, swear words, satanic related items, or anything that shows hatred of any kind.
I am in my early 40's. My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We are best friends. We just became empty nesters last September. We have 2 grown children; a daughter and a son. We have a small dog (Maltese) named Chance that is my little shadow. I work full time in retail management. I love to spend time taking photos, crafting, painting and blogging.
Last September we pulled up roots and moved to the gorgeous southern city of Charleston, SC. The beaches are nearby and the downtown has ornate architecture with cobblestone streets, gorgeous mansions and lots of history. There are all sorts of historical plantations, cemeteries and gardens to explore. Big Live Oak trees with lots of Spanish Moss swaying in the breeze and Palmetto Palms.
A friend mentioned she was involved with Swap-bot and since I love to trade art, I decided to join in the fun. I always read your profiles and try to incorporate some of your favorites in whatever I make for you. I want you to be happy with whatever I send. Oh and I NEVER flake! If my pkg does not make it, please please send me a message. I also angel the swaps that I host. I never want anyone to be disappointed. Happy Swapping!

Aw I am so glad you liked it, lavendarcat. I will always angel my swaps. It is such a thrill to get fun mail. Enjoy!
I'm very grateful for the vintage bird tag that you were kind enough to angel. It is lovely and thanks for the extras. I have the stamp of the little bird. It is one of my favorites.
