I'm a 24 years old girl, from Costa Rica (Yes, I speak Spanish). I'm very open-minded and liberal. Currently on college (Psychology Major). I'm very interested in getting to know intimate aspects about other people, and other cultures. I'm open to private swaps, so if you'd like us to exchange small traits of our countries and our personal experiences, please message me!
I wrote down some of my preferences here for anyone who needs ideas, this should help you know if I will especially like something. Please don't feel I'm picky just because of my detailed profile, once again, this is just meant to help. I enjoy a lot reading my swaps partners profiles, but if you don't you could skip mine, but please read the list of things not to send me. All the lists are in alphabetic order, meaning I like everything on there equally. Except the colors list, I have real preferences in that, but the only one I dislike is white (unless it's mixed with other colors, especially with black, yay!).
I adore anything cute, girly, artsy, handmade, cultural, nerdy, practical, funny (not easily offended at all), landscapes, nature, animals, food related in any way, and especially random/unique/quirky items and things I couldn't find in my own country (surprise me!). I also care a lot for small details when giving and receiving :)
This helps me keep everything organized and thank people when I receive. Mail takes time to arrive in both ways and I could forget where things came from.
I remove the ones that have already been received on either side.
I'm waiting to receive:
I thought I'd make a special section about Postcards, because I just love them! Store bought or handmade are both great. Even better if you can send them naked, stamped, and written; but if it's better for you to use an envelope, then it's ok. I like all kinds of cards, but these ones I love:
Anyway, I can't get offended by anything that is on a postcard, wether it's a joke, a religious or political statement, etc. Postcards help me collect the world around me, and that includes things I might disagree with. I'd also love to have some erotic postcards, but that's not something common to see :(
Things I appreciate:
I'd love to learn origami ^_^
I haven't been able to find these items in Costa Rica, so I'd be VERY happy if I receive some
Also I'll probably be very happy if you send me something else I can't get in here either :-) I've received things I didn't even know they existed! :D

Hey Shirley
In the serach box you need to put iheartsnailmail all as one and then it should pop up. Get back to me if it doesn't work :)
Hey Shirley
Yes it has been quiet however Kirsty has just handed it over to me so I am just trying to see who is active and get some swaps going again. Would love to have you back in the group
Hey Shirley
Glad to hear you are back after a rough 2009 and hoping that you will become active again on iheartsnailmail.
Hugs Lauren :)
Welcome back, Shirley. I know that sometimes "living la vida loca" isn't just a line from a song, so I hope all is better in your world now. Just wanted to drop a line to say hi, and welcome back, and oh! I am also a psychology student =)
Shirley, I love the notecard (letter) and stickers you sent to me. It certainly did cheer up my day. You are almost at 300 hearts! And almost 500 5's! It is people like you that make Swap-bot such a fun and wonderful way to meet people from all around the world. Happy belated Birthday to you. Linda
Hi, Shirley!! I just received a postcard from you for the "My Favorite...PC Swap #2"...its a lovely card with a photo of a church in Costa Rica.
...but this is the second one you sent me!! You sent me a card from the show "Jackass", which I also loved, and was very funny..I already rated you on that, so I am sorry you went to the extra trouble to send a second one, but wanted you to know i appreciate it, and to say thank you again!!
Your swap pal, Sandi
