Hello!
I stumbled upon Swap-Bot through the postal society. This looks like fun!
I'm all moved in but, still unpacking. If anyone sent anything to me, it might take a while to get to me because of my address change so if you haven't gotten a rating yet, that's why. It's good to be back!
I am a new bride, being married last August.Jazz singer by night, I also have a passion for classic movies, chocolate and tea. I hope to have more time to read soon, as I miss my huge book collection.
I am also an actress and writer, and am recently getting back to two of my favorite pastimes, photography and embroidery!
I love, love, LOVE paper dolls, vintage clothes and any quirky cool vintage-y things. I am a published paper doll artist and have an irregular blog. Kawaii is awesome, and I can honestly say I was one of the first collectors of Hello Kitty. lol
I am giddy about meeting people and having adventures and seeing what neat things the world has to offer!
Jazz spanning the 1920s to the 1960s
Favorite singers are Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin, Anita O'Day, Billie Holiday, Jeanette MacDonald, Serge Gainsbourg, Julie London, Mel Torme, Dean Martin, Doris Day, Helen Forest and Blossom Dearie to name a few.
Crazy about Opera, adore the American song book, Classical, and Roy Orbison. I also am a grunge girl at heart, loving the alternative bands and grunge movement of the 90's.

I strongly dislike when people destroy things that can never be replaced, such as old Victorian photographs. I actually hate that. Those are real people who have family somewhere and a history. Don't glue buttons on their eyes, forever blotting that part of history out. It's not clever or creative or cute. It's actually quite wrong.
