Stephen King; Probably my most favorite author. I have enjoyed everything he has written. I love the psychological aspects of his horror stories. The ones I keep going back to reread are: Salem’s Lot, The Stand, Duma Key, and The Gunslinger series.
Anne Rice; The Vampire Chronicles and The Mayfair Witches
Dean Koontz: The Odd Thomas books and much of his fiction. He seems so knowledgeable about all aspects of his stories, especially in technology.
Isaac Asimov; The Caves of Steel, I, Robot, the Foundation series…
Ray Bradbury; Fahrenheit 451… what more need I say?! Well… I guess I could say: Something Wicked This Way Comes, Death Is A Lonely Business, A Graveyard for Lunatics, and oh so many collections of wonderful short stories.
Suzanne Collins; The Hunger Games series. I also loved reading the Gregor books with my children.
James Dashner; The Maze Runner books and the four books of the The Jimmy Fincher Saga.
and last but not by any means least…
J. K. Rowling
I am just starting the second Palimpsest book by P.J. Post. While I haven’t read enough of his work to call him a “favorite” I really enjoyed Feral and am looking forward to reading more of his work.
Of course, you noticed that my reading revolves around Horror, Sci-fi, and Dystopian. I hope that you can find a new author here worth trying.
Why hello there! My name is Kaylee and I see you are a Harry Potter fan! How cool! I'm an elementary school teacher and the kids LOVE Harry Potter. Your two dogs are incredibly sweet, give them lots of love from me!
Best Regards,
Kaylee
I hope this finds you warm and well. It is 38 degrees F and raining here in Maine. I just received a message from a lady in Texas who said it was only one degree warmer there. That's just not right.
As I was reading your Profile, I particularly noted your Favorite Movies list. It is much like mine, a good mix of genre. And, The Parent Trap! I was about ten when I first saw that movie. I was absolutely in love with Hayley Mills.
My wife worked as an RN for the past 40+ years, 30+ in the Emergency Department. For 12 years of that, I worked on the local ambulance squad. The running joke in the ED was that we only saw each other awake when I brought in a patient.

Good morning. I like stickers too. I like bigger ones that are vinyl or waterproof. I stick them everywhere. I also like them worried and trippy. Have a good day.
