I seriously hate filling these out, but that's probably not enough to go on, huh? Let's see...I am a housewife/starving artist, Pastafarian, Libertarian Socialist, LGBT rights activist, zombie apocalypse survival enthusiast, competitive sleeper, thrift store hunter, adorer of vintage things, and Japanese culture (especially kawaii). I love all colors equally, nature, and collect a lot of little random things. Current collections include: old records, View Master slides, robots, vintage coin banks, kawaii characters/accessories, vintage/antique photos and posters. I play violin, clarinet, some random instruments lying around. I love learning about pretty much anything, and find the human species incredibly interesting. Learning the Japanese language right now. Haven't decided which to go with next- German or Norwegian? I live with my awesome and beautiful wife, a small white dog named Buddha, and a ferret named Nico (yes, that Nico) Kthxbai!
Just a few: The Velvet Underground, The Grateful Dead, Django Reinharhdt, Dethklok, Venetian Snares, Gogol Bordello, Crystal Castles, The Beatles, Shonen Knife, Korpiklaani, Birthday Massacre, MSI. I'll give anything a chance. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll get listened to again though...
A few all-time favorites are: Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage, Dawn of the Dead, Werkmeister Harmoniak, Dr. Strangelove, Amelie, everything by Hayao Miyazaki, and I'll pretty much anything about zombies that doesn't look like complete garbage-same goes for most horror.
Tolkien, Gaiman, Vonnegut (can't think of more at the moment). I love manga and graphic novels, and am reading The Walking Dead right now (It's awesome!). Reading is one of my favorite things, but when it comes to listing what I read my mind always goes blank, like this: .........
I don't use my TV often. If it's on I'm most likely watching Dr. Who, True Blood, The Walking Dead, or anime. Cable is overrated, I'm a proud pirate.
Photography, acrylic painting, learning oil painting, sculpting small things, sewing by machine and hand, making jewelry in various forms, altering old things, (newly) Zentangles, scrap booking, paper crafts, and been addicted lately to making ATC's. Got into knitting for a little while, but it's too expensive to keep up with. There are a lot of crafts/art forms I'd love to learn eventually.
I'm not super picky about things I receive, but just going to throw it out there that anything religious wouldn't be the best idea. Unless it has to do with Buddhism, Taoism, or The Flying Spaghetti Monster. I'm not crazy about touristy postcards. In general the more bizarre/macabre, kawaii, vintage/antique, or art related the better.
