I'm guessing this profile is supposed to be about more than just quilting things, but this will be the quilting section seeing as I joined here for a quilty swap.

My things are colour and pattern and design and light and bright and ooh and funky and sunshine and rainbows and lollipops!

My favourite colours tend to the blues, purples, and reds. However I like all bright, saturated colours, although not necessarily all together at once. Punchy colours/patterns against an anchoring neutral look really good to my eye, as do bright patterns against whites/creams.

My style tends modern rather than traditional, but I love traditional blocks and designs in bright non-traditional colours, as well as the modern funky patterns and variants that come up when we take traditional blocks and mix them up in new ways.

I have a lot of Kate Spain, Heather Ross, Joel Dewberry, and Tula Pink, yes, but I also have plenty of other fabrics and fabric lines from Kona, Michael Miller, Riley Blake, and Robert Kaufman. Generally, nice clear geometrics are good, and I think low-volume looks really good with saturated colours and prints.

I have no food allergies worth noting, but keep in mind that I live in Australia and Australian Customs can be obsessive about things like tea and fruit/vegetable/egg products.
