When I was a kid we didn’t have a phone or internet so mail was an exciting part of the day, lol. Texts and emails are fine but letters and cards are so much more personal. Comment: Great notebook...the string idea was cute. I think the postage due was because it isn't a normal envelope. My post office forced me to put them in envelopes. Even when I picked yours up they gave me a hard time about mailing something like that. I am not sure what the big deal was. It is frustrating because I loved this swap.

Comment: The bag itself was really nice, thank you, though I was a little surprised that in your note you said you included as many of my favorite superheroes as you could because the only one I really saw represented was Hulk. Can I ask why the envelopes you decorated had Christian literature pasted on the inside?
Response: The journal was covered in Spider-Man comics and some others. Im pretty sure Captain America was in there somewhere. I did the best I could with the resources I had. I'm sorry if you were disappointed.
I have old books that I got for free from the library and I use the pages to reinforce the insides of handmade envelopes.

(Yes, my sewing machine is all metal. It only does a basic straight stitch, but it does it well. They really don't make machines like they used to. After using this one, I wouldn't want any of the fancier modern ones that are anywhere within my budget.)

Response: The second I had misplaced so I sent another. Then I found the card I had misplaced and it was already addressed and stamped so I figured might as well send it.
