There is a place called Tillamook Washington where there are quilt squares on buildings in town and you can get a map to treasure hunt each one out its pretty cool. I didnt think of that when I painted the barn now im whising I would have but im glad you liked it. Thank you for the nice comment

Comment: These watercolors are amazing. I can tell you put a lot of time into them. especially with the shading. my favorite is dopey. The only thing is the sleeping beauty card came slightly damaged (no big deal) but when you send an ATC be sure to put it in a protective sleeve or laminate it somehow to make the artwork stays safe. you can buy baseball card sleeves in bulk pretty cheap or laminate them like I did for awhile. regardless they're beautiful and keep up the good work!

Comment: I have been doing these kind of collage postcards for a while now and it was very exciting to find a swap that actually encouraged home mades. So this was very fun as well. Your card was beautiful, unfortunately all the embellishments were ripped off in transport. Our mail system is a bit rough on the postcard. Despite that I thought your card was absolutely gorgeous and I loved it very much. It is very special to me thank you so much.

I'm gonna have to start a new box just for zines and things like this! The crow wax seal is legit, too. (you know you can put feathers and string under your wax?) see ya around, LadyCry!
Response: And ribbons and lace... O I love playing w wax seals I have ocer 40 of them theres lots you can do with them. I recently saw a few new things I want to try... But to do that I need to find one thats just flat no pic to impress in the WAC. Then aparrently you can use hot glue over pressed flowers and the seal makes a pretty flat window. Any way I'm glad you liked my very 1st evet mini picket letter

I was so impressed with the techniques and the textures you used to make this little beauty, and I so appreciate the amount of time and creative energy that you put into it! What did your sister think of your upcycling of her tablecovers? Or maybe, like mine, she's used to such transformations by now... Lol! Thanks for including the info on what you used to create it; I might try this technique on a future project. BTW, the colors are perfect; love the mix of different shades!!! Thanks for a beautiful swap! P.S. - I loved the decoration on the envelope as well, and the wax seal! I don't often see those!

Funny thing when I picked out the 4 animals I was like I really want to do the fog and gazel wouldn't u know it u picked the frog and she picked the hazel it wasn't till I began drawing each of them that I found out just how much harder they were than I had thought they would be. Response: I just look at my deck and a card speaks to me then I do it. Then when I get a signed names I look at the cards I've drawn and go ok this one goes to... And then send it. I must be doing ok deciding who gets what bc every time people r like u picked just the card I needed idk how that happens but I'm glad u liked it

It's even better because I sent a black lined doodle on watercolour paper to my partner also (I painted mine). I shoild've left it uncoloured too - boohoo :( I will follow up once your masterpiece is complete :)

Love the different sayings you put in made it more special with you writing them! I have never seen pretty paper bags where did you find them? One again thank you for the beautiful book!!!!!!
Response: I am so glad that you like it :) I made and shipped 2 of them I think you got the one with the pink Paisley cover that is made w watercolor paper and a piece of meterial I got at a thrift shop that was supposed to grow into a dress but is not it grew into many a journal instead. The pink and blue bags I got at Smith's grocery store. But u can get bags w colors and prints at Michael's, benions, and hobbie lobbie too.cant wait to see how everyone did w this. I'll post pics on my Instagram of the several I've made since then cause these go so fast! U can c those on ladycyr :) again glad u liked it

I have been taping up thin ribbon or embroidery thread in a horizontal line on the wall and hanging my favorite postcards/ATCs and such on them with tiny clothes pins. This is going up for sure! and thanks for the recipe. You cook like me, no measuring. I will try it out soon :)

Response: The rhinosaurs unicorn is was my fave of the bunch I drew him twice so I could keep 1 Lol I'm glad u loved him too. I was only going to send him but then thought no I'll do the horse version sorta... Since mine is a zebra and if I'm going to do that than why not the naewale. But the narwale is kind of odd and mostly boating so I this an Alaskan tribal one. Glad u like them and that they got to u all the way from Utah USA lol

Comment: Lovely card so glad to find someone else who hand draws. Just make sure to use a sturdy backing ( like a thin cardboard or a thicker card stock) so it's not so flimsy as some swappers will definitely rate down for that 😊

Response: i am relieved that you like it :) i worried when it began getting fatter and fatter and fatter, i began to worry. i hope you will like the drinks and recipes chose for you and i hope the seeds grow beautifully for you. id love to see what becomes of it if from time to time you want to send pics of its evolution. i am so glad you liked how i handled the 4 seasons in the cover. i think i need to paint more people as ive only done a few and each time i am impressed and surprised with how well they turned out. i loved playing with her hair and the shading and it was tricky figuring out her butterflies. also there was probably 100 other things i wanted to include in each section but decided it was time to stop so you would have places to add all you to it. :) enjoy creating in it as i had so much fun doing that too :)
