Comment: I just received your letter, i'm feeling a little down in the dumps, have been sick since tues. It came at a perfect time! OMG 51/2 babies when do you have time for t and his? You did a great job very creative, love the watercolor and your ideas for the letters. I had a great time doing this and getting ideas from my partners, I signed up for another abc one.we're a lot alike i'm thinking more more it needs more . All my babies are grown up with babies of their own which is another whole new world which i'm loving. I have 5 grandbabies 4 boys 1 girl (right in the middle) Thanks hope we can swap again if your not to busy, good luck with the new bundle of joy! Comment: Got your letter today! Thanks for the lovely extras - Thomas was really happy with his sticker album too. :) (It did smell like perfume - could it be some scented paper or drawer liner or something? Going to try to air it out a little but luckily it wasn't a scent I reacted strongly to!)

That's weird and you're the second person to tell me that. One was one of my 1's that I was making up. I spent over two hours making up her envelope full of holiday goodies and she said she had to throw the entire thing away as soon as she opened it. I was so upset. But I say it's weird because I don't even use, let alone own any perfume. Idk why it smells like that. I'm sorry.

Response: Thanks :-). The girls actually haven't heard from their dad in over a year. He was their dad for the 8 years we were together then he just falls off the face of the earth one day. I am with someone else now that's actually sane and we have 2 boys together. Once I filed for child support he disappeared. I was only awarded $105 a month anyway. And that's not even per kid. That's total. Doesn't matter, if he was ordered to pay $5 a month I wouldn't see it. If I don't expect anything I can't be let down. :)

To answer your question about last august...I had a miscarriage on my sons birthday. After that I became obsessed with images of hands; because when I had the ultrasound done the baby's hand was up it looked like it kept reaching for something...so that image pretty much got engraved in my mind. Thank you for asking :-) and yes I know what you mean about the weather! it's still cold here. Today we are having a lovely rain/slush mix outside. I have been to Minnesota twice: Once just before your first snow, and the second time it was winter, but spring was not far away. We don't get anything near what you do (weather-wise) but we have had more snow every year. My mom said when she grew up here (over 80 years ago); she never saw snow growing up. So the climate has turned around here.

The black netting is great and I love all the fabrics especially the tropical flowers & Halloween designs. The heart buttons are fab. I can really use the needles a few with large eyes and a threader too. I do a lot of hand sewing of tears in my granddaughter's stuffed animals. She wants to learn to sew also but she is only 4 yrs old. I always need bobbins & pins & felt. Not to mention all of the ribbon I know I can use. Thanks for making my day!! P.S. The beautiful little notebook with my initial S on it is divine!

I was worried such an experienced sewer (and I don't mean the underground tunnel where toilet waste goes...lol) would think "ugh I got a bunch of stuff from a kid". Thank you!!! I don't know if you know where to ind any, maybe a dollar store, but you could get those cardboard pictures for toddlers that have holes and come with string for you to weave throughout the holes and "sew". Have fun! I loved seeing all the cool fabrics at the store. I don't sew but I want to stitch on cards for my scrapbook...

Response: Awwwww I'm so glad. I really try and go with what people like even if it's "senders choice". I send what I'd like to receive. The scented pillow is a pincushion from my mom's sewing kit, the monkey and heart fabric is left over from my daughter. She gave it to me after making mini blankets for homeless cats at the shelter. The little watering can with the heart is a little trinket my mom had sitting around that a friend gave her years ago. She was happy to let another person get joy from it. I'm so glad!!!
