I love your handwriting. It’s tidy & has its own style.
Good luck with the orchard! In gardening you learn from mistakes, so remember that. Also, generally trees do best when planted in fall, but that’s not to say if planted in spring they’ll do poorly. It’s just easier for a tree to concentrate on only rooting & and new home rather than on rooting, flowering, leafing, new home and heat as it will need to do in spring /summer. May your garden prosper!

Comment: Thank you for the very cool postcard! Planting an orchard will be fantastic. Female plants will snatch up all the pollen in the air, which is produced by male trees. Cities favor male trees because they don't produce fruit or seeds, which city officials consider to be a nuisance. They do, however, produce pollen and lots of it.

Comment: My friend brought me the mail today and she said "and look! The envelope matches the stamp!" So cute. And when I saw that there were postcards inside I thought, of dear more to put in the box to pass along. But then I saw it was a WW1 card! And then I got really excited! Thank you soooo much! And the other one, the Hummel, reminds me of the Hummel figurine that was always on my mother's bedside table and we were never allowed to touch it! It was a mysterious, beautiful object I very much coveted! She still has it.

Comment: Ha, what a great postcard of "The Bad-Tempered Ladybird"... totally made my day! Grins! I like to keep my pizza pretty simple: no cheese, lots of black olives and mushrooms. Here in Eugene Oregon, Mezza Luna makes a brilliant vegan pizza. Also, when they deliver, there's no box... the delivery person slides the pizza right out of their carrying warmer and onto your own pan! I love that, no packaging to waste!

Margherita Pizza is one of my faves, I love a cheese and salami but I get Combination most often. If you come to Cali, San Francisco is a must. I live an hour North of SF in Wine Country.

My fav pizza is cheese... lots of cheese.
My fav place to get it is right downtown... South Berwick House of Pizza. They use a lot of real cheese. So much that the oil will often soak through the bottom of the box before I get it home. I take a plastic bag and set the pizza on it on the great seat floor mat.

Comment: Becky, Thank you for the Amish Country postcard. There are Amish communities near me, as well. If you visit Indiana, a site worth visiting is the Indiana Dunes National Park.

Comment: Thank you for the coloring post card. If you come to Tulsa Oklahoma you have to go to The Gathering Place. Its an amazing park. It has won a lot of awards. My favorite pizza is pepperoni. We have a pizza places here called Hideaway Pizza and we always get The Big Country. It has a lot of different meats on it.

Comment: Since you like art, I would go to the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, The Childrens Art Museum, they have those in St. Paul, Rochester, and Duluth. Oh and Duluth is a great city to visit. You could also take a tour of the North Shore. Great views of Lake Superior, plus many other things to see and do.
