Comment: Thanks for your lists and the beautiful note card. Is if hand made? We got our new roof and siding in 2018 so I know what you mean. We have been staying close by anyway, to enjoy our little granddaughter. Both our 'real' trips (Chicago and Disney World), she and her mother came with us. She travels very well.

There are several that intrigue me already, but like you, I have a bunch of books on my Kindle and on several bookshelves at home, so we'll see if I can get to them! I love your book club's idea--the field trip sounds wonderful. I remember reading The Good Earth and The Big Wave back in school as well. It may be time for me to revisit Buck as well!

Comment: What a detailed and comprehensive log. It never occurred to me to included the number of pages (or number of CDs since I do a lot of audio) in my log. That's a cool idea. What an odd co-incidence that both my partners read "Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society" after letting it linger on their TBR pile for so long and I've had it sitting on my shelves for years. You both gave it outstanding reviews so I suppose that I will move it up in the rotation! I also recently acquired "Midwife of Venice" and am looking forward to reading it. I think the one book that you read that interests me most of all is "Thirteen Reasons Why". It's been on my Goodreads "Want to read" shelf for a while now. Ugh!! So many books, so little time! I found When you go away intriging as I know someone in that situation where she left her kids because their father/her ex-husband beat her severely in front of the kids, and she fell into a deep depression, was admitted to a mental hospital, he divorced her, she lost the kids, but all is good now. We lost a large lemon beagle and ended up with a little tricolored beagle and met a lot of nice people who are helping to look for Tucker. She and I had to talk about not taking toys outside, so she went out and stared in the house at Mr. Monkey. Then she took a nap with him and went I came in my sewing room -- Mr. Monkey and Mr. Elephant were in there! Bootsy and Clyde appear to have a lot in common -- especially stuffing on the floor and standing on tables (we had to talk about that again today). Thank you so much. She's already gone through one of the meaty bones -- in record time!!

Not only was that financially rough (I'm sure it was), it took a lot of stamina! Kathy is a great swapper and would be a blessing to have on any swap team!
