My aunt made popcorn balls for Halloween and we did the same thing -- immediately went to her house to make sure we got one. I distinctly remember when the big candy scare happened and it became store-bought treats only because I missed those popcorn balls! Wow -- I haven't thought about that in years. Thank you for all the extras. Yes, I'm super lucky to live at the beach. No bugs, never really gets into the 80s, never really freezes in the winter. But as a housecleaner I work all through the nice weather, so I almost never get to the beach except in the off season when it's raining, lol. Comment: I didn't want to open this until I had finished mine and I am sure glad I waited! This is incredible! I can barely stand to touch it, it's so precious! Every little nook and cranny is chocked full of so my TH yumminess, oh my! The paper dolls, tags, labels, ephemera, washi tape, hurray! I'm not even sure I have found it all yet. My favorite parts, well let's say I'm glad there isn't a character limit here. The diamond diecut on the front immediately caught my attention. I love the effect of the glossy accents on the cut-outs in the pattern, genius! The charms on the binding were made with so much care, wow! And this is just the beginning! Each page is full of pockets and flips and stamps and inks and texture and charms and bits and bobs! I also love the double flip pockets on the back page, so creative! I just can't stop admiring it! I am definitely going to leave it as is for awhile and just enjoy the yummy feel to it. Bit by bit I may start to unload it and pack it with my creations, but it is a treasure I will enjoy for a good time first! Thanks so much for everything, suggesting the swap, joining with me and going way above and beyond to make this so nice for me! Can't wait to try it again sometime!

When I put the diamond cut out on the front I was like,”Ummmm, no.” But I had already glued it, I walked away from it and thought what to do to add a pop of color to match the saying on front. Then it hit me! Paint & stamp paper, recut the die and use the cut out! Woo hoo! Like a puzzle, lol. To me they looked almost like pieces of turquoise after the glossy accents. I’m glad you do like it and maybe you can do a little journaling in it. I thank you so much for trying this swap with me! I learned a few new crafty ideas. I will gladly join another flip book swap! I'm going to clarify the 3D ATC thing I don't mind it being slightly raised due to using some kind of gloss or very small little embellishment that are a little raised. I just do not like the thick large raised items for my collection, like huge buttons or thick raised sticker type embellishments. Thank you for considering that in my profile. Thank you so much for a great ATC that fits well into my collection.......=)

I was sick of the cold and snow in Oct. after our first storm!! We were lucky it almost all vanished in 2 days of rain... which brought, as you know, it's own form of disaster in the form of a ton of flooding and devastation. It's so sad and disheartening. Now.. on to the swap... I LOVE the TH ATC you created for me!! It is awesome. I'm no longer married, but that would be my new mantra is I was looking :-) I need to start investing in some Tissue. There is so much on a roll, I think I will die before I use it all!! So, I haven't invested yet. Very creative coloring the flowers. I would never have thought of that. Comment: Lovely! Shabby is my fave style! Just a tiny note. When you use foam tape for such bitty areas like the bike seat and handles, it can help disguise it if you colour the edges to match the background. Using thinner tape also helps. When it arrived, the squishing in the mail had bent the tape sideways so it was very visible. Don't worry though, I set it right and I LOVE that you raised up the bike. I use foam tape on almost everything I make!

Comment: I agree the tie-dyed ATC is fantastic. But, the purple ATC is lovely also. I do love purple so thank you for that ATC. The completed ATC is beautiful with a wonderful sentiment, something I wish for occasionally. The brown background and theme is exquisite. Deborah, you are very talented. Thank you for a great swap. (Several hours later) Duh! I just found the extra ones on the backs of the other cards they are both beautiful also. I like the white, green and fuschia card makes me think of a field in spring with all the flowers in bloom. The bright green and purple/blue is just fun. Thanks again for a great swap. I did it just fine the first time, but the puppy above ↑ was sitting beside me while I was working on the others, I got up to get something and "Someone" just thought he had to have the pretty blue one and pulled the ribbon untieing it! Response: I am so glad you liked the card. I think I got the pearl trim at WalMart many years ago when they actually had a fabric department. You could probably find it at a craft or fabric store. I started out using an old pearl necklace. But they didn't seem to want to hold and that worried me about them coming loose in transit. And the colors I love too, even tho I am not fond of orange, but love paisley print. Thanks for the wonderful rating! :)

It really was not too big of an inconvenience by doing it ourselves and not at anytime being without any of my major appliances and I did not miss any days with the daycare kids in my home:) The parents were all very understanding thank goodness!!! Response: It is funny how they HAVE to be called by the name. My oldest GS (20yr) when he was little was Batman also. He was so into it, his mom was Catwoman and his dad the Penguin. LOL. My daughter tells a story that when he was little they were out shopping and he kept calling her Catwoman everywhere they went. Not Mom, and she said people would look at her so weird.
