Now it is a new year and since I really loved being a part of swap-bot I decided that I had to do something about it, since I still want to be part of it. Response: I am so glad you can use those camping sites! I'm not a hardcore camper, but I love to escape by just taking off for an overnighter away from my husband/kids and no one knows where i am! Ha.
Of course there's lots of places here that only "locals" know. We found a canyon in which you could walk right up to a beaver dam in the small waterway. This place was past a campground but hardly visited. Probably only locals. Just don't forget the adventure you are now, when you are 40.

Comment: Wow, what a small world : ) I have land in Klamath Falls, not sure what I'm going to do with it. We'd like to move to Bellingham Washington, not sure if I can handle the cold/ snow. I really like this crazy valley, even though it gets sooo HOT here. : ) Did your husband take the photo for the P/C? Happy Swapping!

Wa is gorjuss too, the NW rocks lol. Astoria is so significant historically even though it was a quiet town when I last visited some years ago...
