Comment: Hi Martha and thanks so much for the very cute Alice in Wonderland tag with prompts. Please don't fret about being late. I am not a stickler for dates and know life gets in the way sometimes. Or sometimes you just don't feel very creative. For me, the best thing to do is just go into my craft room and work on something. I can usually work my way out of it. Love that you made this little tag like doors opening onto Wonderland. Lovely image inside and a perfect quote to accompany the image. And thanks for the vintage extras as well! Happy crafting.

Comment: Oh Martha, I love this so much! Thanks to your book page background, which I THINK is Greek, I have ordered a Greek language book from an eBay seller...it's a visually beautiful language! It's fancy! What I enjoy most about this ATC is that (to me) it's the essence of these 3 Elements swaps...you used the required elements without it being obvious that you had 3 required elements. Does that make sense? I once had a swapper reach out to me for a private swap, and the theme was "sparkle" because she had just received a bunch of little gems for ATCs. I did my usual type of thing, and what I got in return was a black cardstock background with about 50 gems stuck onto the background. And that's it. Just the gems. Where's the "art" in that? So thank you for being so good, and for the beautiful buttons as well! Hopefully we will swap again soon.

Comment: The postcard you sent took me right back to the "50s (52). The paper doll is great. I'm sure I must have had a similar one. I had books and heaps cut out, even some from a Montgomery Ward catalog Thank you for this adorable post card. It stirred up some sweet memories.

My parents took me to Radio City Music Hall when I was a kid, and the Rockettes costumes were bright orange and pink, and I absolutely loved them.

Life in Singapore is basically a typical city life but being small it's pretty easy to get to one place to another within a short range of time. U should visit one day. 😊

Comment: That is a great set of photos. I love the stories behind the photos. I like the 'hot' interpretation - boiling kettles of hogs heads for headcheese -- a most unique subject. I like how you framed the photo - pots at the front, barn in the back and a hill path leading up to the barn. This was a fun photo scavenger hunt. Thanks for sharing MH!

Comment: Hi Martha, Thanks for resending! I don't know what happened the first time. The pictures are great -- I really like all of them. I particularly like the cook-out one -- you've captured the sense of heat and the earnest focused looks on the faces so well. But then irises are my favourite flower and the one you've shot is a particularly beautiful one, and I love the piano players and the bee and the ferris wheel. What did strike me as I looked at the pictures is that you have a real gift for candid shots of everyday life -- the hog roast and the piano players and the fair ground all have a real sense of place. The other two are good photos but don't tell me something new about the subject, while the hog/piano/ferris pictures all give me a little glimpse into your local world. Does that make sense to you? Thanks for sharing.
Response: Thank you for the rating. I really appreciate your feedback. Yes, I do tend to take more pictures of flowers and bugs than people. I am fascinated by the forms of blossoms and how varied they are. I do like street photography also and I think my musicians are a fun example of that. I really enjoy these scavenger hunts.

Comment: That's a sweet goat. I love goats. I went to a goat farm and the cheese-maker lady at the counter offered to let me see the goats. One of the best experiences ever. The goats loved having their cheeks scratched. The rabbit is lovely. We have them in our backyard and love seeing them (we feed them occasionally in the winter--don't tell my neighbours 😁).
Response: The duck and goose photos were for the March swap. You had rated them earlier. I am assuming that you did not get the April photos - a rabbit and a goat. What is your correct email?

It was funny as I opened the swap you sent me I actually heard an owl and it was around 7:30 in the evening. Thank you so much for the fodder you sent. OMG the one with the different site words and division problem and a few other smaller pieces gave me flashbacks. The book page of the ladies with the dresses made me smile. Then I began to think in my head that I should make me one of those cute dresses. Talk about vintage. LOL. I appreciate what you sent. Comment: Wow that Eastern Bluebird is beautiful. The ducks remind me of a bird waterfowl sanctuary that was on the outskirts of town back in the 80s. It was full of exotic colourful ducks and geese. How cool that you have something similar in your area.

I really like the pages you created and I’m looking forward to using it. It is a small world. Woodstock is about a 40 min drive from here. The girl that has done my hair for years is from Woodstock, I’ve been trying to think of her maiden name. Yes, I’m crazy about beagles! My Sadie is really getting on in years, but is just as sweet as ever❤️ She is diabetic, so I have to give her shots 2x daily.

Comment: Thanks for the neat sea 🌊 ATC - how convenient that the paint curled up on the paint-chip and one of the colors is named “backstroke” blue. It will be added to my collection :-) I love the coaster one too.. I had one of those many years ago. It was lost in one of my moves. Funny thing... my brother lives in Ft. Collins, where it is from.. I remember drinking Fat Tire beer round about the1990 time frame. :-) Your cards will be sent on. I am adding the "Adventures of the Traveling Postcard" info on the Grace and Peace PC, as you only put your name and Rnd 94 on it. No explanation as to which swap Round 94 is!! Thanks for the PCs!
Response: First, thanks for the rating and the heart. Thanks for adding the needed info to my card. I had not started a new card for quite some time & I don't know if I have ever had one returned. The coaster PC must have been on an adventure of its own. I wonder how these coasters (I think there were 6) made it from Colorado to the thrift shop here in southeast Missouri.

"The mural showcases several floating heads from people Zimmermann [the mural artist] encountered in the Bucktown park or nearby, in places such as the Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues intersection." I had been waiting and waiting for the card, and I was getting worried that it had been lost in the mail. Today a co-worker showed up and said that she had been at her sister-in-law's house and happened to notice a card hanging up by the door that she was waiting to give back to the mailman because it had been delivered to the wrong address. She saw my name and said "Hey I know her! I will take it to her!" So it was delivered a few blocks up the road from me and just so happened to find its way to me! It was meant to be. :)

Comment: Thank you for the lovely tag. Yes, the fires were about an 1-1.5 hours away from us. Which means we were covered in ash and severe smoke during the fires, but not close enough that worried for our property. We have been doing donation drives and cooked food for fire evacuees on Thanksgiving. We all know people who have lost everything, so its very humbling, and heart breaking.

We aren't in the northern part of MI now, but I grew up in the Northern LP and my husband grew up at the top of the UP where they average over 200" of snow each year! Comment: This one's a beauty - elegant, but modern! I like the red, white and black as a palette. Some of the paper wasn't glued tightly, but it only tore a little - the hazards of mail art. Thank you, Martha. Oh, btw, I like your idea of using some of the same elements throughout the series.

I have never been to Paducah....are you believing that! It's quite a distance from Northern Kentucky but one day I would love to go....I order fabric from the store but would just love to go one day. I went to a gorgeous store in Branson, MO last year....I could have bought the store out! Thank you again!

Comment: It's calculus!! I loved calc! When/if I get back to ATC's I can't wait to use some of these pages as backgrounds for something science or math! Thanks. I can't bear to take pages out of my own calc books. I have some elementary math books I do use sometimes because I have double and triple copies if them. I had never really thought to cut things out of magazines before, but, it was fun!!!!! No, I have never even been to St. Louis..I do not drive and my friends are not interested in driving that far for me. I have only lived in Missouri for 10 years, coming here from Orlando because of health issues, and my daughter helping me with my recovery at that time. I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mtns. and love the Ozarks..I have falt at home here.
Response: I believe the Dr Seuss image was from a magazine from the 60's or 70's. The best time for MO weather is coming up, I love the fall color.
