Comment: This card is so cool! I thought it was modern art. I cannot believe it was done in 1897. It's so quirky and interesting. She's been staring at me for a day or two while I did my work. Comment: Thank you for the Pizza chunk and note. I am doing okay. Walking the trailer court weather permitting, making some masks for daughter-in-laws co-workers in the restuarant where she works. They just opened for inside dining last week. Our Zoo is opening as open air park thursday to members only then next week to public single use tickets. Love walking there and watching the animals, specially the giraffes, tigers and elephants.

Comment: I love this Lantern Press postcard. I lived in NC for 2 years and we used to camp in the Pisgah National Forest region of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's really great seeing a postcard from there because I miss it!
Response: My husband and I camped for our honeymoon at Mount Pisgah, 20 years ago this month. I lived in Asheville and now live in a different part of NC, but still near the Parkway. Yay!

Comment: It is so much fun and rewarding to make my own journals. I find myself being very picky and no longer wanting to buy as many journals like I used to when going into stores. Unless they are handmade then I still want them all! I really love this PC you sent. I am going to keep it for one of my journals, its so pretty! Thank you!
Response: I'm so glad you liked the postcard. I agree, handmade is better than store bought any day, yet I still fondle ALL the journals in the stores. Can't help myself!

Comment: Adrian, I love the postcard that isn't a postcard! I've heard of the Biltmore Estate from different friends who have visited it, but have never had a chance to go there myself. It's definitely on my bucket list though! I appreciate the stamps you chose to send it with as well - very appropriate! I wondered if Cedric is the name of the dog on the label; do you know? We used to have a big St. Bernard that lived in our neighborhood and it would come and visit when the kids were outside playing. It's name was Fred; Fred would let them climb all over him for a while and then, when he was tired of the game, he would get up, shake himself off, and go on his way. Your card reminded me of Fred, and it was a very nice memory! Thank you so much for sending such a nice card!!!
Response: The Biltmore Estate is definitely worth a visit. My family really enjoys our season passes. It's a great place to enjoy anytime. Yes, Cedric was George Vanderbilt's dog. I'm glad you enjoyed the card. I appreciate your kind words!

Comment: Thanks for the Trader Joe’s packaging card! I’ve bought those snacks for my Grandson:) I do most all of my grocery shopping at TJs. We had rain on and off for a couple of weeks, mostly cloudy. I love it!!! Today it is warm and sunny but it’s supposed to cool down again. It’s not always sunny here. We get lots of marine layer days. I don’t like our hot Summers. But I do like to swim so I tolerate the heat so I can swim at night:) Happy Swapping ❤️ PS I just rec’d a second card from you! Thanks! I love this kind of stuff - so unexpected and whimsical! I agree with you about recycling things to cut down on the waste, especially this time of year. And I wouldn't worry too much about returning an upcycled card to the original sender: chances are that if they liked it enough to buy it and send it out to friends, they'll love receiving it too!
