If you don't mind your romances with sex scenes, I recommend The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. It's a standalone, cute and funny too. Not a fantasy, just a romance. Without sex scenes, I highly recommend The Cruel Prince. It is a series, but only 3 fairly short books. It's a romance about a fairy prince, quite dark. I wouldn't read ACOTR, if you don't like long books. They drag in spots.
