Comment: Hi Toni! Thank you for the cute nc and the goodies! We had rain all yesterday and last night - Mother Nature's way of watering for me! LOL! Thankfully it just rained, I can do without any major storms - on Tuesday I went and helped a friend do some cleanup at her condo that was part of the tornado in May - so very sad for her and others effected by it! It looks like a war zone - sigh! I enjoyed the goodies and the pc is not risqué! LOL! Although some of the vintage one's regarding the military sure are! Comment: Hi! Your letter arrived yesterday. Thank you for so much Japanese-inspired cards + images! I'm building up a 'collection' so it's time to craft, right? For once, Austin seems even hotter than Tampa. It's supposed to be ~105F with the heat index tomorrow. A few nights ago, it was 98F in the shade around 7pm. I can't keep plants alive! Too wet from tropical weather, or too hot, or too much shade! augh. I hope you have it much easier. I keep the apartment cool with rental-friendly UV stick-on tint on the windows. Can still see through it, but keeps indoor heat down. Pair it with curtains, and it stays about 76F in here with the A/C off from ~7am until ~1-2pm. I can't take it much warmer. I bet Hawaii is gorgeous. Black sand beaches? Sign me up! Thanks again!

It can be tough to be away from your family, but it sounds like he'll get enough love from you to feel it all the way from there! ♥ I have given all of the animals a pet from you, of course~ The dogs were particularly excited about it, but miss Eury the cat was a tad distracted trying to eat the postcard you sent while I was petting her. I think that means she enjoys it!

Comment: Thanks for the great selection of scraps! I do appreciate them and will have fun with them as soon as the smoke odor goes away......ETA ~ Maybe it was the mailman. There have been a lot of complaints about them smoking in their trucks and making all the mail stink.,,,,Anyway after I took the papers out of the envie and laid them out on a table for a day, the odor went away and now I can enjoy all of these goodies.
Response: So glad you like them but curious about the smoke odor. No one in my house smokes.

Response: The girl in the boxing gloves came from an old hardbound magazine called American Heritage(?). It was published in the 1950's and 1960's.

Comment: Hi Toni! Your ATC is lovely! It's so cohesive! The sweet vintage lady with her eyes closed seems to be listening to the music on the page! I love that you stamped the flower. I have such a wonderful collection of stamps but rarely use them on ATC's--this is a great reminder of how beautiful they can be. Also, what did you use for the pink on top of the book page? It's so pretty and I'd love to add that to my repertoire of techniques. Thanks for creating something so special for me! I have to add a special thanks for all those beautiful extras! Those papers are GORGEOUS!

Comment: i love love love that piece of tissue letter - so very cool, you can never have too many dictionary pages, especially with the little images, i am a poetry freak so the birds of passage was very special, foreign text pages are great (can't find that around here), the catalog page with the little images, again i love that stuff, i am going to use the images off the gazeteer for a transfer, and gregg shorthand - well that just took me many many years back. thank you for a great swap!
