Comment: Living in the high desert is much different than the low desert. We go from 110+ summers to 30 and below winters lol. No real spring/fall to speak of, unless you mean the leaves hehehe Enjoy Costa Rica, well not the dental work, but the sun!
Response: My BFF is from Arizona. Phoenix is in the valley. I remember she talked me into flying down there in August to pick up a truck and drive back to Wisconsin. It was 127* that day, sunk in the asphalt, burnt my hands on a freaking steering wheel, and could actually feel the flames of hell. I don’t know how you do it. Response: Wonderful! It arrived. I was a little apprehensive about sending cardboard until a woman actually sent me a chunk of puzzle one day in a postcard swap. It is gorgeous and still one of my favorite things I have ever received in the mail. I LOVE to draw weird little girls. I seem to have settled on a method of mixed media. I use: colored pencil, acrylic, inktense blocks, India ink, white gel pen and watercolor. Love brussel sprouts. Now I buy them frozen or fresh because when I grow them, they either get slugs or the bunnies attack them. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. It’s taken me a while to build up to art swaps and will continue to do more after I come back from vacation 💕

I have no confidence, my husband drives me to keep going. It was years into our marriage before I showed him anything and now he supports me. Whether it’s finding art supplies on sale or sitting next to me and taking an online class. Art was never nurtured in my family. So thank you for the compliment. Hope that the trip to Costa Rica will go well and be successful. The National Health Service might have it's faults but I can't imagine what it must belike not knowing if you can afford necessary treatment. 8 years ago I went to the GP with what seemed like a minor problem in early August. By the end of November
they had diagnosed cancer , removed the tumors by major surgery and given me a precautionary course of radiotherapy and declared all traces had gone! At no cost to me. We have so much to be grateful for.
Your husband's right Scotland is beautiful.

I am going to take a break for a bit, but when I come back you should try the Found Image ATC. So easy to do! Find an interesting image and make it into an ATC! That's it! Response: I’m going to have to ease up on the swaps now that I am returning to work but, I am going to try to do some ATCs and just sit on them. I get all bent out of shape with collage. Don’t get me wrong, I can do it but they never turn out the way I want. I’ve gotten good feedback but, my inner critic just bears me to death. I really haven’t tried zentangle. I dont celebrate New Years so for me I’m done for the year and glad. Im sorry that 2018 was horrible for you. I feel like it was a really bad year for so many of my friends and family. I was lucky and it was pretty uneventful for me. It was emotionally exhausting as far as current events go and I should disconnect from social media and the news this coming year and just focus on putting my hands and feet in the soil more. Comment: Thank you for the cute bunny card :) It's interesting to read of your meeting with the creator of Eric Draven that must have been so cool! Coincidentally I have a hand drawn picture of Brandon Lee as Eric Draven, with the make up on, hanging on the wall upstairs. They are doing a remake in the UK but I will not be watching it I love the original.
Response: NICE! I wish we had that in our house! Envious Smurf here. Thank you for the info on the UK movie. I can't imagine anyone else playing the role. James O'Barr is a very real person. He's quiet and polite. He used to work with the Ford dealerships in Detroit fixing wrecked vehicles. He still has a house there that his brother tends to since they can't find a buyer. He has now relocated to Texas. When I was talking to him, he said that when he was in the shop working in Detroit, he would have never imagined that years later, he would be standing in Red Square in Moscow. Well, keep a look out for him, he does travel back frequently. Take care and thank you again...

Response: I know you don't dig the tourist postcards but, I took a punt hoping you would like it. It's so strange, my cheese shop of all places has the most beautiful postcards from here. Other places, they are kind of tacky but I have one of a night barn scene that is stunning.
