Comment: I know this is a photoswap….but the stamps you put on the outside envelope have stolen my heart 😻😻😻 your stationary is also so pretty, too.
As far as the photos, I love the Halloween themed ones from the Halloween themed wedding, troll boogers, slugs and unicorn horns, oh my!! had me giggling ☺️ So many great photos. The depth of field and framing on the rose image is stunning, it begs you to reach in and smell the roses. The sleeping pooch, sure looks like a good boy. However, this extra dragon fly photo stole the show, So beautiful 💕💕 Gah, I love snapping shots of dragonflys 😁. I was “lucky” enough to be witness to and be snapping some pictures of dragonfly’s one day, and one snatched a bug from the air then landed in-front of me on the dock I was sitting on and ripped off its head with its jaws and legs and then proceeded to decimate said bug….made me realize why they were called dragonfly’s in a hurry 😬 made for some neat photos though!! Annnyways….thank you so much for sharing!

I can’t get anything interesting unless I buy a book at a time. How cool that you were born in NC. I was actually born in Jacksonville, Florida. I've looked through it twice already and I'm still finding treasures in it; you included so many things from my profile list. I love the backgrounds you created for each sturdy page, and the edge trim is awesome! I laughed each time I found a medicine bottle label, and was so happy to discover the smashed penny with the bonsai tree on it! (That went into my 'smashed penny collection book.) And of course, the pug stickers that you scattered throughout were delightful. I loved the quotes, and the page layouts were so beautiful. I would love to sit by you as you create one of these and learn how you know exactly what to place where on the page to make it look so nice. This is a treasure that I will definitely be showing off to all my crafty friends. Even my non-crafty friend was impressed when she saw it! Thank you so much. Comment: What a beautiful package you sent to me for this swap! I was having such a bad day and when I saw your envelope in my mailbox, my delight just chased away all my pitiful feelings! I love love love the label you used: Blue sky, dragonflies, and "The Awesome Kathy Bates" -- it made me laugh out loud! And as a stamp collector, I really appreciated all the different stamps you used to send it! And that was just he outside; inside it was like Christmas or Birthday! How cool that you have access to so many nice paint chips! I have to admit to taking a few sample chips home when I truly had nothing at all that I needed to paint, but the colors were too tempting to resist! I loved that sheet of "dogs in different containers" and decided that if it isn't a pug, it's certainly close enough, and it's one of my favorite things from the package.Red beehives and bees, red snowflakes, a grasshopper with red wings! I would never have thought of those things, but they definitely fit in well! I even liked the tissue paper you wrapped things in! This was so much fun and I can't express how much I appreciate all the effort and creative energy you put into making this such a special swap. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

When my husband and I were married, we couldn't afford much, so we moved into a trailer on Grindstone Lane, which, if Google Maps is correct, is just right down the road from where you grew up! Your APC is just amazing, and I have already taken it to a dark room to see the wonderful glow! How clever to add the little pocket on the back with the poem! You went so way above expectations of 6 washi samples I can't even begin to thank you. It's so inadequate. You packaged everything so that it was fun to explore every little bit. Your letter was so nice to read; all the charm/jewelry pieces wrapped individually; the tea tags and packages; notecard and memo notes not just inserted but wrapped in fun tissue and then the lovely Bazzil paper (my absolute favorite); I love the zippered bag so many of the goodies came in (did a prior swap make it or maybe you?); I'm sure I have missed something. Forgive me if I have. I just want to hug you. The package came as such a surprise and made me feel so spoiled. My birthday is Friday so it was like a big present, and my sister is having a double mastectomy next week and the goodies gave me such an uplift. Amrita, thank you sooo sooo much.

Response: You are so very right. The post card for your swap is in an envelope on our kitchen table with a pile of Monday's mail at this very moment. I am so sorry; I intended to add a note regarding it at the end of the letter. As you know, this was a swap I finnished while staying at the hospital with Bob after his heart attack. Unfortunately, I failed to grab the post card and extra goodies I had set aside to include with this swap for you. We live about an hour away from the hospital in Nashville. Not knowing how long we would be there, I did not want to waite until I returned home with Bob to send out your swap. So, rather than sending the swap late, I mailed it out at the hospital, intending to add a note letting you know the post card would be on it's way soon. This weekend I was able to catch up on most of our mail and swaps. Thank you for taking the time to let me know about it and for rating a 5 despite it all. I do appreciate it very much. Comment: I've set a goal for myself this year to read a couple of nonfiction books that aren't craft related. I read A LOT, but it's all fiction and I have a problem getting into nonfiction. And then you sent me this card. I'd never heard of the book, and whilst looking it up for more information, I found one that has essays on over a dozen famous writers, a continuation of the one you wrote about, by the same author.. Good reviews. So I indulged! Thanks so much for the postcard and the excellent suggestion!

It worked!. I will have to track down a copy of the one you discovered. So many parts of this one really amazed me. For example, one chapter talks about the little known connection between Charles Dickens and Poe's 'The Raven'. All the best.

Thank you for the parakeet bird cage PC. When I was 11 ys. old we lived overseas in Taiwan, (Dad was in the Air Force) & we had several bird cages on the our front porch with so many different kinds of birds. Great pets.

Next I want to thank you for all the lovely napkins & for the extra goodies. The paper is beautiful & I just love the owl PC. The dragonfly paper that you wrapped all the goodies in is wonderful. I'm saving it. It looks like its made from the same paper the old patterns were made from. My mom use to have those everywhere, she would make me cloths. You package was so special, thank you.

Comment: Thanks for a lovely package. I am never entirely sure I understand e.e.cummings, but I have always liked his poetry. And I enjoyed the Christmas poem very much. I never met either of my grandfathers, as they both died even before my parents were married, and I have now lost not only my grandmothers but also my parents, so that poem spoke to me, as well. both my husband and I are very active in our church, so and his mother is the only relative of that generation he has left, so I will share it with him as well. Comment: Thank you for the wonderful package! I'm holding off on opening the gift as long as I can. I like letting the anticipation build. And besides, the dragonfly paper you used with the little dragonfly charm is so cute... When I look at it, that song from Sound of Music goes through my head: "brown paper packages tied up with string" THIS package has become a 'favorite thing'!!! Lol! I loved the envelope decorations too! the stamps that said "this is not a bill" and "better than junk mail" cracked me up. The honeybees and dragonflies are two of my favorite insects. And that quote about if your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough -- that just begs to be used in a future project! Thanks for a fabulous swap, and I'll let you know when I can't hold out any longer and I open that package tied up with string! Great swap!

Buttons! Unicorn magnets! A cookie baking mat! Hilarious paper sayings and zombie/unicorn recipes.....not mention the teas! You had everything wrapped so beautifully also!
