Comment: Thank you for the “happy hello.” It sounds like you are finding lots of ways to keep busy while staying home. Learning to play piano worship music sounds great. Our church is doing services online, and offering nightly encouragement. Our Bible Study group meets via a video conferencing program. It’s good to keep meeting. Stay healthy.

We were hit hard by Hurricane Florence and then we took a vacation up to Massachusetts to my husband's oldest grandson's wedding and to see my two children and family. It was cut short because Hurricane Michael was headed toward North Carolina and we knew the airports might be closed, which we were right. Would you believe we got heavily penalized for cutting the flight and car rentals? What is this country coming to? I love your traditions. They were very similar to mine when I was younger. Loved the fresh cut trees. I usually got a blue spruce to decorate. They were very picky and we ended up with scratched up. Love the smell. Christmas is a special time of the year. I started decorating the day after Thanks giving. Going into the woods for ferns and laurel to make wreaths and garlands. They were the good old days. Now at 75, I put up a 3 foot all ready decorated tree. It is ealry but "Merry Christmas". Shirley

Comment: Thank you! Wow! What can I say about such an amazing swap? First, I opened the envie and saw the postcards. I got a good laugh out of the "Hikers Wanted" bear one. I really enjoyed reading your letter. And as for the box of goodies, everything was so awesome. I am so excited to try the teas! I will use my new mug. It is very pretty. The fox socks are so perfect for me and the owl towel too. I squealed with delight when I saw them! I am seriously crazy over the owl towel! And everything was wrapped up so neatly. This box was just so perfect. I felt as if you were a friend who had known me for years and new exactly what to send to make me smile. Thank you so much!
