Comment: I love what you've done with the envelope and writing paper - such an inviting letter to open. I truly enjoyed reading your letter - I felt transported to the library of your youth. Libraries as gardens - I like that image. I too love libraries, and visit them whenever I can while traveling, just to experience as many as possible and imagine the lives of the people there in conjunction with their library. Comment: Hello! Thank you so much for the package. I agree with your review of the book on every level. This book was actually a DNF for me because I just felt so incredibly disconnected with it. I also agree with what you said about the past a present. It could’ve been clearer. As much as I TRIED and wanted to finish this book every time I tried picking it up it felt like a I was reading a paper I’d write for college. I would get bored and ultimately distracted so I just called it and marked it a DNF. I thought maybe it was just because I’m young and maybe I wasn’t matured or old enough to understand the concept. I heard SUCH great things about this book that I thought maybe it was just too old for me. I’m so glad I found someone that was the same way. That makes me feel so much better about my reading comprehension haha! As for the letters, my December swap is already assigned so I don’t want to change it for those who might have sent it already but I will definitely make it shorter and easier for January.

Comment: Thank you for the variety of stickers plus the palm fish. I will forward the p/c to someone else now. We do carve pumpkins out, just not scary ones. No neighbors and not even by a road, so its just for us. But we love it that way. Lucky you, you can plant bulbs. The deer here, just dig them up. You added a saying from Mother Teresa, in your note to me. She is one person, I wish I could of met in person, along with Jimmy Carter. Both humanitarians. And its really odd, how you used a Frank Lloyd Wright calendar page to write me on. Because, I adore his architecture and just sent out a post card to someone with one of his homes on it, Must be the universe is bringing us together.
Response: Hi MisplacedfromPA, It is nice to plant bulbs, we don't have deer so bulbs are mostly safe. But we do have rowdy teens who sometimes enjoy smashing pumpkins so mostly they are not a good idea. I do enjoy carving them though. I think Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius architect but after reading a couple biographies about him I he was also a true character. There are a lot of people I would like to meet and maybe get to know. I agree, the universe is a magical place, we are lucky to live here. Happiness and Peace 🎃

I have a lot of different teas. I think my favorite is just plain tea! I have a chocolate tea, raspberry and chamomile. I have green and assorted others. Yes daffodils are very Hardy flowers that survive sun zero temps here in Michigan. Every spring they do not fail to revise and bloom again. Response: Lol, these are pretty good bookmarks I think, ( I feel good about sending them) but my first 2 or 12 designs were utter rubbish. So I am very happy and relieved that you liked these. A box of vital tools is a fabulous thing to have. I am interested, envious, and nebby, what do you consider vital supplies Did your decorate the box? I keep my/some wonderstuff in an old peanutbutter jar.... its not decorated, I wouldn't even claim the jar is clean but it no longer has any peanutbutter in it. I like making envelopes, though when I make them for myself I just tear them to size and fold; the washi helps give the whole thing structure and holds the address label on. For some reason so many of the labels start out sticking but within minutes the start to lift at the corners. I hope the teas are tasty most of the sachets that I sampled from that box were lovely. Comment: I have to say this is one of the most incredibles swaps I have ever received. Not only is is beautifully constructed, but it was such a joy to go through! The papers you used are incredible the colors are so beautiful and pleasing to the eye. And the goodies. WOW I adore them. I LOVE the butterfly/moth stickers. I placed the luna one right in the middle of my bulletin board. The metal die cuts are so fun. I think I will add a magnet to the back of the butterfly and use it that way! Response: Hi Dee, Gosh it took that package long to get there 😊 maybe weather issues?😁 I am glad you liked the "treasures" it was a happy thing to gather them for you. The butterfly had been in an old hat box with other Dresden scrap and paper peices for decades, but totally away from any sunlight or heat. And I do believe the manufactures were dedicated to make the scrap(s) to last. Even the foil scraps from then are still beautiful and bright. But also brittle. All the extra goodies, including the bulb pin tassel had me beaming. Response: Hi Artistic, I am very pleased you like the tangle. What kind of tangling do you do? Some pc or bookmarks, maybe even most of them, I lay at least a light wash of watercolor or Derwent inktense color first. Your card was part of a pile of postcard blanks I painted to have ready to doodle. For specific drawings, mostly botanical or insects, or cats, I do the light wash then tangle, then add more color with more paint or inktense, prismacolor and sometimes markers. To add detail or definition. Lately I have been using a light wax as a finish, but sometimes that seems to smear some of the lines. I think a may need a fixative layer first. Your card is just watercolor and micron pigma pen. Do you put a finish on your doodling? Do you have a tangling process? My reading chair is my happy place. ☺ Happiness and Peace to you,
