Comment: Thanks for the weird PC. I do website maintenance, marketing and promotion-type stuff, some assorted admin duties. I got started when people asked me to build websites for them and it sort of went from there. Spring is taking its time in coming. We are just now getting some temps in the 60s for a few days and the snow is finally gone, hopefully for good. Nothing is green yet - we are still stuck in brown!
Response: Interesting! We were 75°F yesterday, with 3-7 inches of snow forecast for tomorrow, which is kind of how spring goes here. Thanks for the heart!

Response: Oh yeah! All hail the Army Corps and CDOT who got that road reopened only a week before the onset of what is suddenly a pretty fierce winter. It's quite a bit lower and lumpier than the old road, but it'll do until next summer.

Response: Oh yay - so glad it arrived safely! It's always a little nerve wracking sending something out naked into the world. I used a Xyron to adhere the background, washi tape for decor, and a layer of Mod Podge to seal. The Xyron is kinda pricey, but I love it - I tend to make a big mess with liquid glues.

This was an outstanding postcard. My daughter and I lived in Denver for 3 years and used to drive to Boulder frequently. It sure is a great place. Thanks so much for the great picture. I wonder how he died.

I poked around your website--travel and paper! Yes, that's totally my thing, too! Paper, pens, and inks are the souvenirs I bring home with me.

Comment: Great card. I love the Griffin & Sabine trilogy. And, how true, indoor sketching will be the norm for a few months. Our local natural history museum (the Bell) does first Thursday sketch nights each month. This month it will be a "plants" theme. Anything similar for you in Boulder? There are actually about 6 groups I know of in the Twin Cities and I think there are probably many, many more I don't know about. I've learned a lot about watercolour sketching from them! Keep at it!!

The quote was awesome, and gave me a huge grin as I read it and figured out what it was. Way cool!
But whatever you had glued to the front fell off, so I just got the back and some glue marks. :-( It's still good, though, because you obviously sent it and you're obviously totally amazing! But I'm curious, can you tell me what was on the front?
Response: OH NO indeed! Thanks for the kind words. The P.O. has been very brutal with my stuff lately. (Though not as bad as last year, when they sat on my Bacon-of-the-Month Club delivery for two weeks. Ugh!) The card was a re-purposed trade card I picked up in London last summer. I'm so sorry it didn't make it!
