Response: Neither. I hand-carved a linoleum block, then rolled ink onto it and pressed paper onto the block, burnishing it with a wooden spoon. It's a simplified print process.
Response: Thanks for rating my postcard. Just wanted to let you know, though, that I didn't use stamps: I designed the postcard and then hand-carved the masks out of a postcard-size linoleum block and then rolled out the ink onto the block, covered it with paper and burnished the back of the paper with a wooden spoon to make the image you received.
Response: Yes, I did. Glad you like it!
** Thanks for the heart! **
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked them. The one card wasn't stamped, though--I hand carved separate linoleum blocks for the leaves and berries and then printed the card by hand.
Response: The ink I use for block printing is very heavy, and makes its own texture. Glad you liked it!
Response: Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I should have noted on the back that it's a hand-cut linoleum block relief print. Cheers!
Response: Thank you! This is my first swap, and I wanted to add a little something extra to make it fun. Can you tell me what the heart means?
Cheers,
Bridget
